Loube's Table Having a Good Time

Level 9 : Limits 800/1,600, 200 ante

Steven Loube: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{5-}{j-}{10-}/{x-}
Greg Clayman: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{4-}{7-}{9-}/{x-}

Greg Clayman bet on sixth street and was called by Steven Loube.

"I need lots of cards," Loube said heading to seventh.

"Would be about the 12th time today," a tablemate said.

Loube checked and Clayman checked behind.

"Did you get there," Clayman asked, but Loube failed to improve from his jack-low and Clayman won the pot with nine-low.

"I still think you're going to win the tournament," Clayman said as Loube, who was knocked down to less than 2,000 earlier today, is now around 40,000.

"This has been the most fun table I've been at this World Series," a tablemate said after the hand.

Scully Looks Up Couden

Level 9 : Limits 800/1,600, 200 ante

Action was picked up on fifth street between Joey Couden and Ryan Scully.

Ryan Scully: {x-}{x-}/{6-}{5-}{10-}{8-}/{x-}
Joey Couden: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{a-}{6-}{3-}/{x-}

Couden bet on fifth street and was looked up by Scully.

The same action on sixth street and on seventh Couden bet once more with Scully pondering his decision. He called and Couden tapped the table indicating a good call, then turned over {a-}{k-}{6-} for a king-six which was no good against the {j-}{3-}{2-} for an eight-six in Scully's hand and he raked in the pot.

A few hands earlier, Scott Seiver was eliminated from the tournament.

Damjan Radanov: {x-}{x-}/{5-}{8-}{10-}{4-}/{x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}/{9-}{7-}{10-}{7-}/{x-}

What began as a four-way pot involving Damjan Radanov and Guillaume Diaz was down to heads-up between Radanov and an opponent after Radanov bet on both fourth and fifth streets.

Radanov kept betting on sixth and was called, then bet again on seventh. His opponent quickly called.

"Ten-eight," Radanov said, turning over {8-}{a-}{q-} as his opponent let out a deep sigh before mucking.

Negreanu bet on sixth street and Armstrong called before both players checked down seventh.

Negreanu showed {9-}{6-}{5-} for 9-7-6-5-3 and Armstrong {5-}{7-}{9-} for 9-7-6-5-2 to take the side pot.

Korn Did His Time

Level 10 : Limits 1,000/2,000, 200 ante
Andres Korn
Andres Korn

A player completed and from one position over, Andres Korn raised which folded out all other players which the initial completer responded to by raising once more and Korn called.

Andres Korn: {x-}{x-}/{6-}{9-}{a-}{2-}/{x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{9-}{10-}{10-}/{x-}

On fourth street, Korn's opponent bet and Korn quickly called.

The betting lead switched on fifth street and Korn bet both fifth and sixth street, with his opponent tank-calling on sixth street.

Korn played seventh street blind because before he could act, his opponent mucked his hand. While spending time on the short stack the first few levels, Korn is here to stay.
