Zhang Takes Chip Lead Off Anderson

Level 21 : Limits 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Jiacong Zhang: {x-}{x-}/{5-}{9-}{q-}{7-}/{x-}
Calvin Anderson: {x-}{x-}/{8-}{9-}{8-}{10-}/{x-}

Jiacong Zhang completed before Calvin Anderson raised. Zhang called, then led out through to seventh street.

"Nine-eight," Anderson announced, but Zhang showed {a-}{6-}{j-} for 9-7-6-5-A to take the pot and the tournament chip lead.

During the hand, Frank Kassela was reminiscing about when Anderson beat him heads-up to win the $10,000 Razz Championship in 2018. "He's my good luck charm. I don't finish worse than second when I play with him in a Razz tournament," Kassela said.
