Kaiser Makes Right Call

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action was joined with 24,500 in the pot, a board of {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} on the table, and four players still in the hand. The early position player led out for 5,000. The button and under-the-gun players folded while Marius Kaiser made the call from the big blind.

On the {q-Clubs} river, the early position player continued for 15,000. Kaiser thought for a bit, before making the call. The opponent turned over {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{10-Spades} for the nut club flush, while Kaiser showed {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a full house, enough to win himself the pot.

Sylvia Loses One

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

The button raised to 5,000 and Jesse Sylvia took a minute before calling.

The board came {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Sylvia check-raised to 8,000 his opponent's continuation bet of 2,500. The latter called and both checked on the {5-Hearts} turn and {10-Hearts} river.

The button tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and it was good to claim the pot as Sylvia quickly mucked {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Hale Scores Big Knockout

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Action was joined with a complete board of {4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Spades} with over 80,000 already in the middle.

The small blind led out by jamming for 59,500. Millard Hale, in the big blind, thought for a moment or two before making the call, putting the small blind at risk.

Small blind: {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Millard Hale: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Hale had the best of it with his pair of fours. He scooped the pot, giving him one of, if not the biggest stacks in the room, while his opponent was sent to the rail.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action was joined with 24,000 in the pot and a board of {5-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}. The big blind led out with a shove of 24,000. The late position player called, before Michael Mizrachi, from the cutoff, rejammed for 36,500, getting a snap call from late position, who had both players covered.

Big Blind: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Michael Mizrachi: {8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Late Position: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Mizrachi was already out in front with a nine-high straight, but improved to a queen high straight on the {j-Clubs}{q-Spades} runout, more than enough to scoop the pot. In doing so, he more than doubled his own stack while eliminating the big blind.

Pot-Limit Omaha

The board was showing {8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades} in a heads-up pot when Maria Ho called her opponent for 3,000.

The river revealed the {j-Spades} and Ho's opponent bet 9,000. Ho quickly called with {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for the flush and the winning hand while her opponent held {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

Bader Busts Kempe

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Rainer Kempe: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Bader hit the flush on the turn with the {j-Hearts} and the {6-Hearts} completed the board to eliminate Kempe from the tournament.
