Dinner Break

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The players of Event #77: $1,500 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot Limit Omaha are now sent to a 75-minute dinner break. Action will resume at approximately 9 p.m. at blinds 1,000/ 1,500 with a 1,500 ante.

Livingston Ahead in Three Way All In

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Alex Livingston
Alex Livingston

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action was picked up with all three players having moved all in preflop, including WSOP Bracelet holder Alex Livingston. With Livingston at risk as the middle stack, they tabled their hands.

Small Stack: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Alex Livingston: {j-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{a-Clubs}
Big Stack: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The big stack was ahead with his aces for now, and improved to a set on the {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Spades} flop, but Livingston had pulled ahead of him with a flush. The {8-Spades} turn and {2-Diamonds} river didn't change much, as Livingston's flush was still best. He scooped the pot, more than doubling his stack, while the short stacked player was eliminated.

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

The action was picked up on a board {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}. Uri Reichenstein bet 15,000 and his opponent shoved for a stack around 45,000. Reichenstein snap-called, showing {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the full house with the kings. His opponent revealed {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} before making his way to the exit.

Roussey Builds his Stack

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

The hijack raised to 2,700 and only Quentin Roussey called in the cutoff.

The dealer showed a flop {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and the duo checked to see a {k-Clubs} on the turn. This time the hijack bet 6,400 and Roussey didn't take long to call.

The {3-Diamonds} came on the river and both checked. The hijack revealed {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a missed draw and the pot was sent to Roussey who held {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

New Round of Chip Counts

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Level: 9

Blinds: 600/1,200

Ante: 1,200

Running Quads Strike Twice on Table 110

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Action was picked up with about 23,000 in the pot and a flop of {4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} on the table. Blake Napierala moved all in from the hijack for 33,200. Coby Lacy, in the cutoff, made the call, putting Napierala at risk.

Blake Napierala: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Coby Lacy: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Napierala had Lacy dominated and seemed poised to score a big double up, until the {q-Diamonds} hit on the turn to improve Lacy to a full house. He would improve to quads on the {q-Clubs} river, more than enough to crack Napierala's aces, sending him out of the tournament.

After the hand, Lacy was eager to tell PokerNews about another hand that had happened shortly before. Two players got it all in preflop, with one holding {a-}{k-} and the other {10-}{10-}. The pocket tens improved to a full house on the {2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, giving that player over 99% equity in the pot. The {2-Hearts} on the turn didn't change too much, but the {2-Spades} river gave both players quads, with the ace kicker playing, and winning the pot for that player.

Double Up for Anderson

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

All the chips went in the middle between Bradley Anderson, at risk for his last 14,000 with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and his opponent who had made the call, holding {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

The board showed {5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} to give the nut flush to Anderson and the needed double up.
