Big Double Up for Ribouchon

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

According to the table, a player limped and Florian Ribouchon raised to 4,000. Jason Stockfish called and the big blind player shoved for 12,000. Ribouchon repotted for 46,000 and Stockfish decided to call.

All the rest of the chips went in the middle on the flop {6-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Spades}. Ribouchon shoved for his last 20,000 and Stockfish called to create the following showdown:

Big Blind: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Florian Ribouchon: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Jason Stockfish: {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {10-Clubs} hit the river, giving a set to Ribouchon and the {3-Clubs} completed the board to bust the big blind and give Ribouchon more than the double up. Stockfish, left short stack after that hand, busted a few minutes later.

Jeff Madsen
Jeff Madsen

No-Limit Hold'em

Jeff Madsen raised on the button to 23,000 and Sonny Franco three-bet to 6,200 in the small blind. Madsen took a minute and shoved for a stack around 27,000, which Franco snap-called:

Jeff Madsen: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Sonny Franco: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Madsen didn't find any miracle throughout the board {5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and made his way to the exit.

Goindoo Reaches 100,000

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action was picked up with 13,000 in the pot and a doubly paired board reading {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}. After Ryan Goindoo checked from the small blind to Shawn Buchanan, the big blind, led out for 4,100. After a bit of thought, Goindoo put in a raise to 11,000, earning a call from Buchanan.

The {j-Clubs} hit the felt on the river, and Goindoo led out for 16,000. Buchanan fairly quickly called. Goindoo showed {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for the full house, while Buchanan's cards went into the muck.

Rheem Gets a Fold

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action was joined with a bit over 7,000 in the pot and a board reading {2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} on the table. The big blind fired for 5,400, before Chino Rheem, on the button, put in a bet big enough to put the big blind all in, sending him into the tank.

"I gotta start counting outs," he told the table.

"If you're counting outs that's a good thing," Rheem responded. Eventually, the big blind made the fold, saying that Rheem has to have the straight. Rheem turned over the {6-Spades} and {4-Diamonds} before mucking his hand and collecting the pot.

Six-Way Pot for Shurbaji

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a six-way limped pot, the flop read {5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and all the players checked. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and it got checked to Nick Yunis who bet 3,000. Sami Shurbaji called in the hijack and Shirin Oskooi called as well after Connord Drinan folded in the small blind.

The river fell the {8-Diamonds} and it got checked to Shurbaji who bet 7,200 and only Oskooi called. Shurbaji tabled {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} for a full house while Oskooi only showed {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for the flush before sending her cards into the muck.
