Kiletto Bluffs to Win Two Side Pots, Newton Spins Up from 500 to 8,100

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Lily Kiletto
Lily Kiletto

In the first hand, Lily Kiletto opened to 1,100 from early position and the middle position player called. Thomas Newton put his last 500 chips into the middle.

The flop came out {2-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Kiletto continued for 1,500. The middle position player called.

The {8-Hearts} arrived on the turn and Kiletto fired a second bullet for 2,500. The middle position player got out of the way.

Thomas Newton: {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Lily Kiletto: {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The river was the {9-Diamonds} and Newton stayed alive while Kiletto picked up the larger side pot.

In the second hand, Newton shoved his 2,500 from the hijack. The cutoff called and Kiletto came along from the big blind.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and it went check-check.

On the {2-Hearts} turn, Kiletto put out 2,500 and the cutoff called.

On the {a-Hearts} river, Kiletto put out a bet of 8,000. The cutoff thought about it for nearly two minutes before folding, automatically giving Kiletto the 5,000-chip side pot.

Kiletto showed {a-Clubs}{5-Spades} playing the board, having her straight counterfeited on the river. Meanwhile, Newton flipped over {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the nut flush and has now spun his 500 chip into 8,100 in just two hands.

Altman Beats Foxen in Three-Bet Pot, Foxen Down to 12,000

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Brian Altman
Brian Altman

Brian Altman opened from the button to 1,100 and Alex Foxen three-bet from the big blind to 4,400. Altman called.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Foxen continued for 3,000. Altman called.

The turn brought the {j-Clubs} and both players would tap the table.

The river was the {k-Spades} and Foxen, while also taking his time with a WSOP online bracelet event, fired out a bet of just 1,600, leaving 12,000 behind.

Altman, who won an online bracelet this year and was also playing an online bracelet event at the table, quickly called and flipped over {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for the rivered straight and the winner.

Foxen showed {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a rivered top pair.

Elsewhere at the table, Chance Kornuth, seated between Altman and Foxen, is on about 61,000 chips. Christoph Vogelsang, seated to the right of Altman, is currently at 22,000.
