Taylor Eliminated

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Esther Taylor
Esther Taylor

Huy Nguyen jammed from the button with Esther Taylor covered in the big blind.

Taylor checked her hand and happily called off her last 400,000 chips.

Esther Taylor: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Huy Nguyen: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Taylor had her opponent dominated, but after the {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop gave Nguyen a backdoor flush draw, that draw came in with running {4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} to eliminate Taylor.

Benitez Claims Another Victim

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

A player in the cutoff found himself all in and at risk against Francisco Benitez on the button.

Cutoff Player: {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Francisco Benitez: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Benitez was in fantastic shape to score another knockout and boost his chip stack further. The {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop kept him ahead with the {6-Diamonds} turn wrapping up matters before the meaningless {7-Hearts} river.

Capps Pushing For Chip Lead

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

A large stack of green T-25,000 chips was just spotted in front of Jesse Capps, including three of them as a turn bet from middle position on a board of {3-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} with approximately 150,000 in the pot.

After some deliberation, Capps' opponent folded to send the pot across to him, boosting his stack to near a million chips.

Ausmus Hits The Rail

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Jeremy Ausmus moved all in for his last 25,000 from middle position and a player in late position re-jammed for 130,000. The big blind called with the covering stack to put his two opponents at risk.

Jeremy Ausmus: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Late Position Player: {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Big Blind Player: {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Ausmus was ahead, that is until the flop came {9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{q-Diamonds} to vault the late position player into the lead. Nothing changed on the {2-Diamonds} turn or {9-Hearts} river, bringing Ausmus' tournament to a close.

Ben Yu

Ben Yu moved all in from late position and a player in the small blind re-jammed to put Yu at risk.

Ben Yu: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Small Blind Player: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Yu was behind and would need help to survive. None came on the {5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop or {k-Hearts} turn. The {q-Clubs} river sealed his fate as he headed to the payout desk just prior to the dinner break.
