Wigg Gets the Maximum

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Anton Wigg
Anton Wigg

A player opened to 800 from under the gun and was called by the player one seat over. Anton Wigg then three-bet to 3,700 from late position only to see the under the gun player four-bet to 10,500. The early position player got out of the way while Wigg flatted to send the two heads-up to the flop.

Both players checked through the {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop to see the {2-Clubs} turn. The under the gun player then led out for 12,000 and was called.

Action checked to Wigg on the {3-Clubs} river and he, after some consideration, moved all in. His opponent snapped it off but mucked after Wigg turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, leaving the under the gun player with crumbs.

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

There was a flush on the board as it read {4-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Spades}{k-Spades}{3-Spades}. The pot had about 18,000 in it and Lee Swerdlin applied pressure to his opponent by betting 20,000.

His opponent went into the tank for over a minute before he folded. Swerdlin checked his cards a few times but did not show before taking in the chips.

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Robert Downs
Robert Downs

Action began on the river of a heads-up pot. Ryan Riess looked at a board of {k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. He led out for 5,000 from under the gun.

Robert Downs sat in the cutoff and raised it up to 13,000.

Riess went into the tank for about two minutes, eventually deciding on a call. Downs revealed {a-Clubs}{8-Spades} for turned trips, good enough to take the pot and cut Riess' chip stack down.

Nearby, Freddy Deeb has taken his seat and is ready to get into the action.

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Action was picked up on the {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{a-Spades}{4-Hearts} board with around 20,000 in the pot. Randy McKay, in late position, fired 8,000. Edward Pastoll tossed in the call from the button.

D'Ambrosio Avoids Fremont Street

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Three players saw a flop of {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. Jimmy D'Ambrosio checked to the middle position player who bet 1,400. Harry Kazazian thought for a while before folding his button.

"I'm just enjoying...it just pains you to fold, doesn't it Harry?" asked D'Ambrosio while tossing in the call.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and D'Ambrosio checked again. His opponent bet 3,600 and D'Ambrosio again made the call.

The river fell the {7-Clubs} and both players checked the final street.

"I was trapping, what do you got? I've got you beat," said D'Ambrosio.

D'Ambrosio showed {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a full house, his opponent showed {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

"I would have busted you, I folded two pair," said Kazazian.

"You would have busted me. You would have sent me to Fremont Street dancing for nickels," said D'Ambrosio.
