Eubank Jr. Hits 100K

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Chris Eubank Jr. opened to 1,000 from middle position and was called by the button and the big blind.

Eubank Jr. continued for 2,500 on the {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop and was awarded the pot after both of his opponents mucked.

Matusow Claws Some Back

There was 3,000 in the pot on the {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{a-Spades} board. Mike Matusow check-raised to 4,100 in the small blind after Michael Cervantes bet 1,500. Cervantes called.

Matusow sized up to 8,200 on the {5-Clubs} river.

"You got it Mike," said his opponent as he open-folded his {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

"You can pick one," Matusow replied, while giving Cervantes his hole cards.

Cervantes rolled over Matusow's {9-Spades}. "I thought that ace was good for me," said Matusow.

Dinner Break

Players are now on a 75-minute dinner break. Blinds will be 300/500/500 when play resumes at approximately 7 p.m. local time.

There's been no shortage of big hands and bad beats throughout the first three levels of play. Ryan Eriquezzo scores a big pot with set over set, Kevin Martin wins a three-bet pot, and Greg "Fossilman" Raymer continues to chip up.

Lopez Chipping Up

With a board of {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades} on the felt and a pot of 2,600, Jose Alberto Lopez bet 2,500 from early position. It was heads-up action and the opponent in middle position called to see the river.

The river was a {k-Spades} and Lopez fired out a bet of 5,500. HIs opponent went into the tank for a minute before deciding to fold and Lopez took down the pot without having to show.

Labous Folds to Lopes

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Bruno 'Kool Shen' Lopes, French rap star of NTM, opened in the cutoff to 1,000 and got called by Manuel Labous in the small blind.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Labous check-called Lopes for 1,600. The turn revealed a {2-Hearts} and Labous checked again. Lopes bet 4,600 and after some thinking, Labous let it go. Lopes sent his cards into the muck, only revealing a {k-Spades}.

Negreanu Wins a Small One; Zervos and Eubank Jr Building Stacks

Peter Rutherford opened to 1,000 from the hijack and was called by Daniel Negreanu on the button and Karen Sarkisyan from the big blind.

Action checked to Negreanu on the {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and he bet 1,500 which was met with two quick folds.

Elsewhere in the Gold Section are tournament grinder Alexios Zervos and two-time IBO Super Middleweight World Champion Chris Eubank Jr. Zervos has over 120,000 while Eubank Jr's stack is also heading in the right direction.

Hawkins Loses with a Full House

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The board read {q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} in a heads-up pot when the under the gun bet 3,000 and got called by Maurice Hawkins.

The {7-Hearts} completed the board on the river and this time Hawkins tanked a minute before calling his opponent for 4,700. Hawkins' opponent tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and Hawkins sent his card into the muck, only showing a {q-Clubs}.

Nut Flush Over Second Nut Flush For Fiorenza

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

There was a pot of about 14,000 in the middle and the board read {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} on the river. Antionette Fiorezna tossed out a 5,000 chip and Josh Prager called quickly.

She tabled the {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the nut flush. Prager flashed the {q-Diamonds} for the second-best flush which was useless as he lost another portion of his stack to go lower in the counts.

Three-way Pot for Peterson

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The flop read {3-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs} in a three-way pot when Igor Yaroshevskyy bet 1,500 from the under the gun position and got called by Rosalie Petit and Igor Yaroshevskyy next to her.

The turn revealed a {7-Clubs} and the trio checked to see the {8-Diamonds} on the river. Peterson bet 4,000 and it was enough to make his opponents fold and win the pot without more resistance.
