Systla Beats the Board

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On the flop of {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}, Aditya Systla checked to his heads-up opponent Gabe Ramos, who then bet 18,000. Systla called and the two saw the turn {j-Spades}.

Systla again checked to Ramos, who fired once more for 25,000, to which Systla called.

The river was the {a-Spades} which put a flush on the board, and both players checked. Systla showed {10-Spades}{7-Spades} for a 10-high flush and Ramos mucked.

Kuhn's Turn Bet Takes It Down

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Robert Kuhn
Robert Kuhn

Action was joined with about 100,000 in the pot and a flop of {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Diamonds} having already hit the felt.

Robert Kuhn's opponent, sitting just to his left, led out for 40,000. Kuhn made the call after a moment or two of thought. The {4-Diamonds} came on the turn, and action checked to Kuhn, who fired out for 35,000.

His opponent, seemingly deterred by Kuhn's call on the previous street, thought for a minute or so before eventually making the laydown, and giving the pot to the America's Cardroom Pro.

Sho Homma: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Mikal Blomlie: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Homma was in bad shape for the double up and found no help throughout the board {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} to make his way to the exit.

Chen Downs One

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Zhan Chen opened to 8,000 and then called the 18,000 jam from the middle position player.

Middle Position: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Zhan Chen: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Chen was the only player to pair up on the {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop but the middle position player still could hit his king or make Broadway to scoop the pot.

The {2-Spades} turn and {5-Spades} river completed the board and Chen chipped up and sent his opponent to the rail.

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{j-Spades} and the kings held for Halfa to remain in contention.
