Thompson Can't Fade an Ace

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jon Turner jammed for 113,000 from the small blind and was quickly looked up by Dashiell Thompson from the big blind.

Turner had the {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and was up against his opponent's {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

The aptly named Turner paired his ace on the {a-Clubs} turn and held as the final board showed the {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

Most Overbet Jams, Omara Calls with Best Hand

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With around 200,000 in the pot and the board reading {2-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, Eric Most opted to put Jon Omara in for his last 276,000.

Omara would call it off in very little time and Most slammed down {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for ace high. Omara calmly turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for top pair and got the full double to over 750,000.

Kevin Campbell

Kevin Campbell, who bubbled the 2021 Main Event and now finds himself in the money, opened to 16,000 in early position before Martin Raus three-bet to 40,000 as the player next to act. Campbell called when the action folded around.

Campbell checked on the flop of {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and called a bet of 28,000 from Raus. Campbell checked again on the {q-Hearts} turn and his opponent checked back.

Campbell then led out for 41,000 on the {2-Clubs} river and Raus laid it down.
