Levine Gets A Fold

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Matthew Levine
Matthew Levine

Yuliyan Kolev opened to 125,000 from the cutoff and received a sole call from Matthew Levine in the big blind.

Levine checked on a flop of {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{a-Spades} and then called when Kolev continued for 100,000.

The {q-Hearts} turn saw Levine take over the betting lead, firing off 225,000. Kolev made the call to send the two players to the river.

On the {7-Clubs} river Levine bet again, this time sizing up to 330,000. Kolev appeared uncomfortable with the decision at hand and eventually released his cards, eliciting a chorus of cheers from Levine's overtly vocal rail.

Pickett Ousted

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Michael Pickett was all-in and at risk with pocket kings for 600,000 and was called by Zilong Zhang.

Michael Pickett: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Zilong Zhang: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop had Pickett out of the door and his exit was closer following the {10-Hearts} turn. The {j-Spades} river completed the board and Zhang added another scalp to his 2022 WSOP Main Event collection.

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Christophe De Meulder
Christophe De Meulder

Christophe De Meulder ended up getting his remaining stack of approximately 700,000 in from the big blind and was at risk against Michael Rocco in the small blind.

Christophe De Meulder: {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Michael Rocco: {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

The {6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop gave both players a piece but put Rocco well ahead with trip deuces, and the {9-Spades} and {a-Clubs} confirmed the result to send De Meulder to the rail.

McDermott Doubles Up

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Timothy McDermott
Timothy McDermott

A player opened to 130,000 from middle position and was called by a player in late position, Timothy McDermott then moved all in out of the big blind. The middle position player asked for a count and, after being told the shove was for 905,000, made the call. The late position player got out of the way and McDermott was officially at risk.

Timothy McDermott: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Middle Position Player: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

McDermott was flipping and would need to hit to survive. No help came on the {2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop but the {a-Hearts} turn propelled the at risk player into the lead. The {5-Spades} river completed the board, prompting McDermott to exclaim "come on mama!" as he secured the full double.
