Adrian Attenborough
Adrian Attenborough

Hand #73: Adrian Attenborough shoved from middle position for 32,000,000. Matthew Su spent a minute before calling in the cutoff. The button and blinds all folded and the cards were turned over.

Adrian Attenborough: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Matthew Su: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Attenborough had finally been looked up and would need to improve to crack the superior pocket pair of Su.

The {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} gave Attenborough the set he needed to move ahead in the hand, but the {10-Hearts} turn gave Su a gutshot. The river was the {4-Hearts} and Attenborough doubled up.

Hand #67: Attenborough Doubles Through Jorstad

Level 40 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Adrian Attenborough
Adrian Attenborough

Hand #67: Espen Jorstad open-jammed on the button into two shorter stacks and Adrian Attenborough called all-in for fewer than five big blinds in the big blind, having already invested a portion of his severe short stack

Adrian Attenborough: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Espen Jorstad: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop brought no help to the Aussie but Attenborough spiked the {k-Clubs} on the turn. Nothing changed on the {7-Clubs} river and Attenborough scored the double.

Hands #63-66: Attenborough Slips to a Very Short Stack

Level 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Hand #63: Adrian Attenborough opened the action with a raise to 3,000,000 holding the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} out of a short stack. Matthew Su three-bet to 7,000,000 on the button with the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and picked up a call by Attenborough.

They headed to the {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop on which Attenborough check-folded to a bet worth 3,500,000.

Hand #64: John Eames made it 3,500,000 to go on the button with the {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and earned the blinds as well as the big blind ante.

Hand #65: Michael Duek raised to 3,300,000 in a middle position holding the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and picked up a call by second in chips Espen Jorstad with the {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} flop went check, check, and the {2-Spades} followed on the turn. Jorstad checked once more and so did Duek. That led to the {k-Spades} on the river, which brought four spades on the board.

Both checked once more and Duek won the pot with his pair of kings.

Hand #66: Su raised to 3,000,000 with the mighty {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and collected the blinds and big blind ante in the last hand before a scheduled 20-minute break.

Hands #59-62: Dobric Dents Duek's Stack; Folds to Jorstad's Four-Bet

Level 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Hand #59: Espen Jorstad made it 3,800,000 to go in the cutoff and Philippe Souki came along on the button, as did Matija Dobric in the big blind. The {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades} was checked to Souki, who bet 4,500,000. Within a few seconds only, Dobric folded while Jorstad opted to call.

They headed to the {6-Hearts} on the turn and both players now checked to see the {j-Spades} on the river for free. Jorstad now bet 2,300,000 and Souki called with the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} to get shown the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} for a slow-placed set of aces by Jorstad.

Hand #60: Once it folded to Dobric in the small blind, he limped in from the small blind with the {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Michael Duek checked the option in the big blind with {j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. The {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop was checked and the {7-Clubs} followed on the turn. Dobric checked and then called a min-bet worth 1,500,000 by Duek as the {3-Hearts} river completed the board.

Dobric checked once more and Duek bet 6,000,000 as Dobric double-checked his cards and quickly called, getting shown the jack-high bluff. The Croatian had that beat with his nine-high straight and put a dent into the shorter stack of Duek.

Hand #61: Jorstad opened to 3,000,000 in a middle position with the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} and scooped the blinds and big blind ante without any resistance whatsoever.

Hand #62: Jorstad raised it up to 3,000,000 once more with the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Dobric opted to three-bet to 10,000,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. All players behind folded back to the Norwegian, who went into the tank for two minutes. He then four-bet to 23,000,000 and Dobric got out of the way.

Phillippe Souki
Phillippe Souki

Hand #54: Philippe Souki moved all in for 18,900,000 from early position after picking up {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Adrian Attenborough three-bet all in from the next position for 48,400,000 with {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

In the next position over was Matija Dobric who covered both players. He held {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and asked for a count before ultimately folding.

Philippe Souki: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Adrian Attenborough: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Souki flopped best on the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop to move ahead. The turn {4-Diamonds} was a brick and the river {7-Spades} secured another double for Souki.
