Hands #52-53: Attenborough Limp-Shoves Into Dobric

Level 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Hand #52: Adrian Attenborough opted to limp in the cutoff with {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Matija Dobric applied pressure once more as he three-bet to 5,500,000 on the button holding {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Within fewer than half a minute, Attenborough pushed all-in for 38,900,000 and Dobric let go after slightly more than a minute.

Hand #53: Matthew Su limped the small blind with {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and John Eames then raised to 6,000,000 in the big blind after picking up {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. There was no resistance coming after that as Su sent his cards into the muck.

Hand #48: Adrian Attenborough raised to 3,000,000 from under the gun with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and Philippe Souki defended his big blind holding {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Souki check-folded to a continuation bet of 1,500,000 on the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} flop.

Hand #49: Espen Jorstad raised to 3,000,000 with {8-Spades}{6-Spades} on the button with Adrian Attenborough defending his big blind with {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. The flop was {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Attenborough check-called 1,500,000. The turn {j-Clubs} paired the board and Attenborough bet out for 3,000,000. Jorstad called.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and Attenborough bet 2,000,000 into a pot of 18,000,000. Jorstad called and Attenborough took down the pot.

Hands #44-46: Showdown Pot for Su Against Attenborough

Level 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Hand #44: Out of the under-the-gun position, Jeffrey Farnes made it 3,200,000 to go with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} and was called by John Eames in the big blind with {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. No betting action followed on the {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, which led to the {2-Diamonds} turn. Eames bet 2,500,000 and Farnes called as they headed to the {k-Hearts} on the river.

Eames slowed down and checked for Farnes to bet 5,700,000. The reluctant fold by the Brit awarded the pot to Farnes without showdown.

Hand #45: In the hijack, Matija Dobric raised to 3,000,000 with {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and found no resistance.

Hand #46: Adrian Attenborough raised it up to 3,000,000 in a middle position with {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and received a caller in Timothy Su in the cutoff who held {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}. The {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop was checked and the same applied for the {2-Spades} turn as well. That led to the {3-Spades} river on which both players checked once more.

Attenborough's king-queen lost out to Su's ace-jack and Su took down the pot.

Hand #40: Jeffrey Farnes limped in the hijack with the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Aaron Duczak raised to 5,000,000 in the cutoff holding the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} as all opponents behind including Farnes folded.

Duek bet 6,500,000 and Su let go instantly.

John Eames
John Eames

Hand #39: Michael Duek raised to 3,000,000 and John Eames three-bet to 8,500,000 from the hijack. Duek spent over two minutes in the tank and asked Eames how much he was playing before moving all in.

Eames snap-called for his last 42,100,000.

John Eames: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Michael Duek: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and the turn was the {2-Hearts}. The river {2-Diamonds} secured the double for Eames who now sits second in chips behind Dobric.

Meanwhile, Eames' rail went berserk chanting "Shoes off, if you love John Eames."

Matthew Su

Hand #36: Michael Duek raised to 3,000,000 in the cutoff with {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Matthew Su called on the button with the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}. The flop was {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Duek continued for 4,000,000. Su called.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} and both players checked. The river was the {q-Diamonds} and Duek bet 3,500,000. Su called after a minute and a half. Duek tabled his hand and won with two pair — queens and fives.

Hand #37: Matthew Su raised to 3,000,000 in the cutoff with the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Jeffrey Farnes called in the small blind with the {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The flop was {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Farnes checked.

Su continued for 2,500,000 and Farnes check-raised to 6,500,000. Su quickly folded.

Hands #32-35: Dobric Catches Attenborough Bluffing

Level 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Hand #32: Adrian Attenborough limped the small blind with {j-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Matija Dobric checked his option in the big blind with {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}, which led to the {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop. Following a check by the Aussie, Dobric bet 2,000,000 and the call of Attenborough then led to the {9-Hearts} turn.

Both checked to see the {q-Diamonds} on the river and Attenborough bet 6,600,000 after nearly a minute in the tank. Dobric snap-called and won with two pair — queens and eights.

Hand #33: Matthew Su with the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} opened the action with a raise to 3,000,000 from under the gun, claiming the pot without any resistance.

Hand #34: Michael Duek limped in from the small blind with the {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Su checked his option from the big blind with the {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. The {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop was checked by both players and that led to the {4-Spades} on the turn. Duek bet 3,500,000 and Su folded as the rail from Argentina chimed in with their usual carnage celebration.

Hand #35: Espen Jorstad min-raised to 3,000,000 with the {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and he was called by Dobric in the cutoff with the {a-Spades}{4-Spades}, as the two chip leaders saw a flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Jorstad opted for a check and Dobric checked it back to the {2-Clubs} turn. It was checked by Jorstad once more and so did Dobric, as the {5-Diamonds} river completed the board.

Jorstad checked the third street in a row and Dobric took more than one and a half minute before betting 16,000,000 into a pot of 10,000,000 with the wheel to force a near-instant fold of Jorstad.
