Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Daniel Strelitz
Daniel Strelitz

Mark Liedtke opened to 20,000 on the button and Daniel Strelitz three-bet shoved a stack of 130,000 from the small blind. Liedtke took about a minute and called with a bigger stack.

Daniel Strelitz: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Mark Liedtke: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}

Strelitz couldn't stay ahead as the board ran out {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades} to pair Liedtke's ace and he was eliminated. It was a good run for Strelitz, who was at risk of bubbling earlier in the evening.

Kalidas Eliminated by Vranken

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Down to around nine blinds, Krishna Kalidas pushed from the button and was called by Antoine Vranken in the big blind.

Krishna Kalidas: {k-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Antoine Vranken: {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Kalidas was on thin ice on the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop but earned some equity on the {3-Spades} turn with his flush draw. However, the {k-Hearts} river was a blank and Kalidas bowed out in 30th place.

Jonathan Woof
Jonathan Woof

Jonathan Woof raised to 125,000 and Ryan Messick called from the button before Robert Cowen shoved from the big blind. Woof quickly called for less and Messick got out of the way. Action was heads-up with Woof at risk.

Jonathan Woof: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Robert Cowen: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades} and the jacks held to secure a big double for Woof.

Cowen Runs Hot to Chip Up Significantly

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Robert Cowen
Robert Cowen

In a three-way all-in, the short stack of Gary Bodley went in with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Christopher Chatman got involved with the {a-}{q-}. Robert Cowen looked them both up with the {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and remained ahead all the way, even spiked the {7-Clubs} on the river for good measure to knock out two opponents.

Soon after, Cowen tangled in a pot with Jonathan Woof, who had been moved into the vacated seat that formerly belonged to Chatman.

Following a button raise by Cowen and the big blind call by Woof, both checked the {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop. Woof bet the {9-Hearts} turn for 15,000 to receive a call and bet again the {3-Spades} river for 25,000. Cowen raised to 80,000 and Woof clicked it back to 175,000. Brief consideration by Cowen led to the call and Woof exposed the {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, which Cowen had beat holding the {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for superior two pair.

Yevgeniy Minakrin
Yevgeniy Minakrin

Yevgeniy Minakrin pushed all-in for 155,000 from an early position and was looked up by Ali Eslami in the big blind.

Yevgeniy Minakrin: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Ali Eslami: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The pocket pair spiked a set on the {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop, then locked it up on the {4-Clubs} turn to make the {7-Clubs} river a formality.

Kolev Busts Goodman Within Two Hands

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
David Goodman
David Goodman

Yuliyan Kolev raised to 20,000 and then called all-in for 225,000 when David Goodman jammed out of the blinds.

Yuliyan Kolev: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
David Goodman: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The Bulgarian remained ahead on a board of {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}, which he had greeted with his usual "WOO" sound.

Goodman was then all-in for the last few chips shortly after and clashed with Kolev once more.

David Goodman: {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Yuliyan Kolev: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

No help came on the {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Hearts} board and Goodman had to settle for 34th place.

Bissinger Goes Runner-Runner to Double Through Sarle

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Christopher Bissinger was all in for around 650,000 on a board of {2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} against Dominick Sarle, who had him covered.

Christopher Bissinger: {k-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Dominick Sarle: {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Bissinger was in trouble as Sarle had flopped top two pair and the {a-Diamonds} on the turn didn't change things. However, the river brought the {a-Hearts} on the river to give Bissinger the better two pair and he doubled up to stay alive.
