Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Marco Starnoni
Marco Starnoni

A player in early position raised to 8,000 picking up three callers in middle position, the cutoff and the small blind.

Four players go to a flop of 999. Once checked to, the original raiser put in a continuation bet of 26,000. After much deliberation, Marco Starnoni in the cutoff goes all in for his remaining 56,500 chips. The cutoff and small blind promptly fold before the original raiser is put in a tough spot but ultimately follows suit conceding the pot to Starnoni.

Zalis Finds a Seven

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

PokerNews rushed to catch the action as the table turned into an uproar on the river.

With the help of the table we were told that Sarah Zalis went all-in preflop for 21,000 and was called by the big blind.

Sarah Zalis: K7

Zalis found a sweat as the flop came K2Q, the turn brought the 5 giving her less outs, and the table burst into a mix of surprise and outrage as the 7 fell on the river, giving Zalis two pair and the double.

Zalis held up her drink and said, "It's the whiskey sour!", implying she may have gone all-in a bit lighter than usual.
