The 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) consists of 95 bracelet events and is almost entirely tournament-focused, but there are also opportunities to play high-stakes cash games at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas this summer.

Located in the back of the Paris Convention Center, the fabled King's Lounge is lined with high-stakes cash game tables where you may spot Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius or Daniel Negreanu playing No-Limit Hold'em or Pot-Limit Omaha.

Stephen Chidwick raised to 7,000 from the cutoff and Keith Lehr defended in the big blind. Lehr checked on the flop of 4♦8♠7♣ and Chidwick continued for 5,500 to bring a quick fold from his opponent.

At another table, Scott Seiver eliminated Dzmitry Urbanovich in a seven-card stud hand where Seiver made queens and threes and said tablemate Joseph Couden was to blame.

"That's happened because of you, Joey!" laughed Seiver. "I didn't look on fifth street because I was so tilted!"

Daniel Negreanu moved all-in for 5,500 out of the small blind and was called by Jake Schwartz in the big blind. Negreanu started recording for his vlog and talked through what happened.

He patted while Schwartz took two new cards and Negreanu revealed his QxJx7x5x4x. Schwartz showed his 6x4x2x but instantly paired up to allow Negreanu a double. "I was dealt two pair," Schwartz explained.

Both players were still very short after the conclusion of the hand and Schwartz busted right after, as did defending champion Ben Diebold on a nearby table.

Phil Hellmuth chose for the table to play Badacey and called from the small blind when Sampo Ryynanen raised from the cutoff. Benny Glaser also came along from the big blind. Hellmuth drew two as Glaser drew three and Ryynanen drew one.

Hellmuth and Glaser checked after the first draw and Ryynanen bet 4,000. Hellmuth check-raised to 8,000 and Glaser folded before Ryynanen called. Hellmuth drew one and Ryynanen stood pat.

After the second draw, Hellmuth bet and was raised by Ryynanen, who again stood pat as Hellmuth called and drew one.

After the last draw, Hellmuth checked and called a final bet from his opponent, who tabled 7♠/5♥4♣3♠A♦ for a seven low and a five badugi.

"Wow, nice hand," Hellmuth said as he folded. "That time I was drawing dead against you."

Mor admitted that he had a "pretty bad hand" but his inferior two pair and wheel draw was alive. The K♦ turn gave Mor a flush draw and he got there with the 8♦ river to scoop the entire pot.

Negreanu joked "good for you, Ofir ... onto the next one," he concluded. Moments after he left the tournament area, the cash game floor in the Paris Ballroom called for "Daniel for one, three".
