Sampo Ryynanen
Sampo Ryynanen

Badacey

After the first drawing round, Marco Johnson checked in the cutoff and Sampo Ryynanen bet on the button. Johnson called and discarded two versus one as he then check-called another bet.

Both then discarded one each and Johnson bet to see Ryynanen instantly grin a very sour smile. The Finn vaulted out of his chair, studied the opponent and double-checked his cards before he folded with fewer than one bet behind.

"You choose the next game, that is the good news," Paul Volpe mentioned in table chat and Ryynanen picked Limit Omaha High.

Ryynanen then moved all-in for 17,000 next and Volpe called out of the big blind.

Sampo Ryynanen: QJ85
Paul Volpe: QQJ6

The board ran out 1098KJ as Volpe turned the flush to eliminate Ryynanen in 20th place.

Ray Henson: Qx10x5x / 8x5x6x7x

Ray Henson bet the lead and Dustin Dirksen called despite showing a king, as he joked, "ah whatever, we made it to the money", as Henson grinned back, "yeah, that was the goal".

Dirksen called it down all the way and when they flipped the cards over, both showed a ten-eight. "Did I really make it?" Dirksen inquired and Henson nodded with a tight but professional grin.

Ray Henson: 8x7x5x / 2x10xKxAx
James Obst: XxXx / 9xQx2x10x / Xx

Soon after, Henson took on James Obst who check-called on fifth and sixth. Henson bet seventh with just 8,000 behind and Obst reluctantly called. Henson showed a ten and essentially doubled.
