Tull Stays Alive After Accidental Reveal

Level 16
Larry Tull
Larry Tull

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Ryan Goindoo raised in the cutoff and Larry Tull called on the button as they respectively drew two and one.

After the first draw, Goindoo checked and Tull bet pot with just 27,000 behind as Goindoo went deep into the tank before calling. Goindoo drew one and Tull stood pat.

After the second draw, Goindoo led out with a bet and Tull called off before Goindoo briefly tabled 76542 without realizing there was another draw.

"F***," Tull reacted after the misunderstanding that gave him additional information.

After the final draw, Goindoo tabled his hand again and the table waited in suspense as Tull had 6432 and peeled his final card as he risked going out on the money bubble. Tull revealed the 7 and the table erupted in screams as Tull made the best hand to stay alive after breaking his eight-six.

Hennigan Takes Some Off Eveslage

Level 16

Big O

John Hennigan in the big blind and Chad Eveslage on the button had 45,000 chips out in front when they checked the K992 turn. That led them to the 6 river on which Hennigan bet 137,000. Eveslage went deep into the tank and folded, exposing just the 4 in the process.

No Scoops About on Table 143

Level 16

Stud Hi-Lo Regular

Paul Volpe: A2 / 63J9 / J
Marco Johnson: A84 / 5256

Marco Johnson bet all the way from fourth to seventh street and picked up calls from Paul Volpe. Johnson revealed an eight-low along with his open pair of fives and earned half the pot, as Volpe had a pair of jacks and missed low draw.

"I started with a six low draw, I had a serious hand," Volpe declared while Johnson was unhappy to have settled for a chop.

"Has anyone actually scooped a pot here in this game?" chip leader Ryan Goindoo asked as he thumbed through the plaques.

Dirksen Shows "Something"

Level 16

Big O

On a heads-up turn of QJ37, Dustin Dirksen bet the pot against Ray Henson and started some banter right after. "This is the big leagues now ... I came here all the way from Iowa to fuck you up". Henson folded a few seconds later and Dirksen flashed the JJ for a set of jacks to "show a little something".

He then apologised for the trash talking as the next hand unfolded. The money bubble continues in the penultimate level of the night.

Chad Eveslage has dominated his table further and added chips, storming into second place.

Bohlman Boosts Stack on Bubble

Level 16

2-7 Razz

Zack Freeman: XxXx / 6x9x folded on fourth
Scott Bohlman: 7x5xXx / 2x3xQx10x
James Obst: Jx8x / 4x6xQx5x / Jx

Andrew "AJ" Kelsall selected one of the new games in the rotation for the bubble on their table and that caused some laughter at the table.

Three-way action emerged and involved the table short stack Scott Bohlman, who bet the lead on fourth, picking up a call by James Obst and forcing out Zack Freeman. They checked fifth before Obst bet the lead on sixth and received a call. They checked seventh and Obst showed a paired up jack with the final card, which secured the pot for Bohlman.

David Bach

No-Limit Hold'em

Three-time bracelet winner David Bach was eliminated on the soft money bubble after a no-limit Hold'em hand against Paul Volpe, who now sits with a stack of around 700,000.

As Bach relayed on Twitter, he had Kx9x against Volpe's Qx2x as the Pennsylvanian "flopped trips and made a flush also."

"Really painful finish 22nd paying 20 after having chips the whole tourney and only one player going broke for an entire level," the three-time bracelet winner wrote.

Hand-for-hand play is now underway with 21 players remaining and 20 places paid.

Gorodinsky Chops for a Vital Boost

Level 16

Badeucey

Chad Eveslage had been the initial raiser to get called by John Hennigan and Mike Gorodinsky out of the blinds. The first draw and subsequent betting was already completed.

On the second draw, Hennigan and Gorodinsky took two while Eveslage patted. It checked to Eveslage, who bet and was called by Hennigan. Gorodinsky then moved all-in for 37,000 and Eveslage reraised to 61,000, picking up a call from Hennigan.

The final draw saw one new card for Hennigan while his two opponents patted. Hennigan check-called a bet and the cards were revealed.

Gorodinsky had the 9 / 7542 while Eveslage revealed 8 / 7632 for the worse Badugi but superior eighty-seven. Hennigan also showed his J / 8643 briefly as Gorodinsky chopped the main pot with Eveslage, who won the side pot against Hennigan.

"I started with seven, seven, trey, trey, deuce," Eveslage mentioned in the table chat.
