Boatman Can't Get a Bite

With five players going to the flop, it looked as if a pot was brewing — but the K♠3♠K♦ was checked around the table.
When the turn came the 7♣, Barny Boatman flicked out a 1,000 chip into a pot of 6,000. However, the attractive odds on offer could not find a caller and all of his rivals folded.
