"If you have ace-jack you're in good shape," replied Livingston.

At seventh street, the players both opted to check. Livingston told Chait that his aces were good, and Chait revealed nothing more than that, which was good enough to take the pot as Livingston sent his cards to the muck.

On seventh street Hoffman bet and Alexander thought for over a minute on his decision before putting in a second bet. Now it was Hoffman's turn in the tank. After some time Hoffman made the fold.

"Aces up?" Alexander asked his opponent, who confirmed he did have two-pair with his ace. "Good fold" Alexander said as he scooped up a large pot.
