Myerson Scoops McCarville

Level 7

Four players went to a flop of 1094 when Cassandra McCarville bet from the big blind and was called by Alan Myerson in the cutoff and an opponent on the button.

All three players checked the 6 turn before McCarville led out again on the 5 river. Myerson called and the button got out of the way.

"Set," McCarviille announced, turning over J244.

"You have a set? Straight," Myerson replied, showing A387 to scoop the pot.

McMaster Heads Out as Tourevski Makes a Straight

Level 6

Derek McMaster, the 2019 champion of this event, was all in from early position and got three callers, including Joe Serock in middle position and Evgeni Tourevski in the big blind.

As WSOP VP Jack Effel stopped by to chat with tablemate Sam Farha, the four players saw a flop of 9310 where Serock bet and was called by both Tourevski and a player in the hijack.

The turn came the J and Tourevski led out with a bet. Serock folded but the hijack called. Tourevski bet again on the 5 river and the hijack again called.

Tourevski turned over K2Q5 for the turned straight as he took the pot to send McMaster to the rail.

Tryba Emerges From Massive Cooler

Level 6

On a flop of 733, Jon Maren bet from under the gun and was called by a player in the hijack and Chris Tryba in the cutoff before the small blind raised all in.

All three opponents called to the 9 turn where Maren checked, the hijack bet, Tryba raised, and Maren folded. The hijack called to the J river, where they check-called another bet by Tryba.

"I would've had ace-three but I ended up with three nines," Tryba said as he turned over 99A3 for the turned full house. His opponent flashed 7x3x for the flopped full house. The small blind mucked his hand and was eliminated.

"Brad, you go right to the top of my list," Tryba told the dealer.

"Thank you, Brad," the defeated hijack player added with a touch of sarcasm.

Blomberg Gets Value on the River

Level 6

Colton Blomberg raised from the under-the-gun position and got called out of the button and big blind to see a flop of 9104. Blomberg checked to see the button toss out a bet. Both the player in the big blind and Blomberg called to see the 4 turn card.

Action checked to the button who bet leading to a fold out of the big blind and a call from Blomberg before seeing the 7 land on the river.

Blomberg checked to his opponent who threw out a bet only to see Blomberg answer back with a raise. The button called and Blomberg turned over J854, good for the nut straight.

His opponent tossed his cards into the muck as Blomberg was awarded the pot.
