Duncan Flops it and Wins on the River

Level 5

On a board of 25610 with three active players, the player first to act bet before seeing a call then a raise from Lee Duncan behind. One player got out of the way before a call from the other player took them to a 4 river card.

The player first to act checked only to see Duncan toss out a bet. His opponent folded and Duncan turned up the 6543 and said, "I flopped it" as the dealer pushed the pot in his direction.

Bronshtein Fills Up to Win Big

Level 5

Yuval Bronshtein was in the big blind and heads-up on a flop of 7Q2 when he called a bet from an opponent under the gun.

The turn came the K and Bronshtein led out with a bet. His opponent raised and Bronshtein called to the K river.

Bronshtein led out again and his opponent tank-called. Bronshtein turned over K710A for a full house and his opponent mucked.

"Flush draw and a low draw," Bronshtein asked his opponent as he took in the pot.

"Something like that," his defeated adversary said.

Blalock Gets No Action

Level 5

Elizabeth Blalock raised from under the gun, leaving herself just one purple 500 chip behind, as action folded around to the blinds who both called.

"I'll probably get something I completely miss," Blalock said pessimistically heading to the 63A flop. The blinds both checked to her, and she threw out her last chip. Both opponents quickly folded.

"Look at this," Blalock said, turning over A442 for top pair and a low. "And nobody had anything? How does that happen," she said as she took in the tournament-saving pot that she hoped had been much bigger.

Gola and Farha Chop One Up

Level 5

In a pot that saw four limps before a raise, Jason Gola put in the third bet before the flop. Sam Farha called before three others called as well and all five players took a flop of 98A.

Gola led out and received a call from two spots, including Farha. All three players checked through on a 2 turn to see the K fall on the river.

Gola led with a bet and was only called by Farha. Gola turned over the A762 for two pair, good for the high side, while Farha showed the AQ64 for the low.

Benardella Hits the River to Earn a Split

Level 4

Larry Benardella bet on a board of 10632 before Matt Woodward put in a raise.

Benardella called to see the 4 river where he led out with a bet. Woodward raised again and Benardella quickly called.

Woodward turned over AAQ2 for the flopped nut flush, but Benardella had A5 to earn half of the pot with the fortunate river as Woodward frustratingly tossed his cards back to the dealer.
