On a board of Q♣3♦6♣9♣, Ryan Scully set Dominik Baud all in with one card to come.

Ryan Scully: A♣6♠5♦4♠

Scully said, "Alright, I need to get lucky now", as he turned his cards over. Before the dealer placed the river, he quickly said, "How bout a six?"

The river came the 7♦ giving Scully a straight and scooping him the pot.

"That'll do", Scully said before telling Baud it was a pleasure to play with him as he exited the tournament area.

Bixler Scoops to Send Out Lovejoy

John Lovejoy was all in as Mark Bixler and Nitesh Rawtani built a side pot on a flop of A♣4♥J♣. Bixler bet on the button and Rawtani called.

Rawtani also called bets on the A♠ turn and 8♠ river as Bixler turned over A♦J♦3♣7♥ for a full house and low. Rawtani flashed A♦8♦ before mucking, while Lovejoy hit the rail.

David Williams and Ryan Caskey both had several bets in front of them as they went heads-up on a 3♣9♠10♦9♦10♠ board.

Williams, in the hijack, put out a bet and Caskey quickly called. Williams turned over 8♠7♥Q♠9♥ and Caskey mucked as Williams is now approaching 1,000,000 with that pot.

Varnado Wounds Fitzhugh

Eric Varnado raised on the button before seeing a three-bet come from Scott Fitzhugh in the small blind. Varnado called and the players saw a flop of 9♠J♥J♦.

Fitzhugh led with a bet that Varnado quickly called, taking both players to the K♠ turn card. Both players checked through to the river which came the 7♣.

Fitzhugh bet out and was called by Varnado who showed A♦A♣10♠9♦ which was good for the whole pot versus Fitzhugh's A♥8♥6♠2♣.

"That was a self-inflicted wound", Fitzhugh said to Varnado as he watched him collect the pot.

Benjamin Gold raised from the hijack and Bryan Micon came along in the cutoff.

Micon called bets on the 9♣A♣10♠ flop and 2♠ turn before Gold slowed down and checked the 10♦ river.

Micon checked behind. "I win," Gold said, turning over A♦Q♠K♣3♣.

"I win? I win he says," tablemate Mike Thorpe said following the hand. "I had a ten, guys, just so you know. I should've defended my small blind."

The turn came the 8♠ and Goedert, in the cutoff, bet and Majid once more called. Goedert also bet the Q♣ river.

Majid let out a sigh and flung in the chips to call as Goedert turned over A♥2♠Q♥K♥ for a pair of queens and the low as he scooped the pot.

Bryan Micon raised in middle position and Abdullah Al-Shanti called from the button for less, putting his tournament life at risk. Eric Varnado called from the big blind and all three saw a flop of Q♠7♠6♠.

Varnado bet the flop and Micon opted to call and see the Q♥ turn card. Varnado bet out again, this time getting a fold out of Micon and sending Al-Shanti and Varnado to a one card run out for Al-Shanti's tournament life.
