Obst, Pederson Chop Up Leng

Level 22 : Blinds 8,000/15,000, 0 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

Ryan Leng was already all in as Arne Pederson and James Obst saw the turn on a board of 6Q52. Pederson bet from the hijack and Obst called in the big blind.

The river came the J and Pederson tossed out another bet. Obst took his time before he called.

"Queens up and and a lock low," Pederson confidentally said as he turned over A35Q. Obst, though, turned over QJ for a better two pair. Leng flashed AA before mucking.

"You did not just call with that? How do I not scoop that pot," Pederson wondered as he and Obst chopped up Leng's stack. "You didn't like that call. You made it, but you didn't like it," he continued.

Bojang Drills the River to Double

Level 22 : Blinds 8,000/15,000, 0 ante

Ismael Bojang got the rest of his chips in the middle on a board of Q102J and was up against Zengyong Lin.

Bojang had KJA8, but Lin had a straight holding AK34. The river, though, brought the 6 and Bojang made a flush to double up.

"Wow," he said as he collected the pot.

"How does it come all high cards? They had them all in their hands," a tablemate added.

"It pays to be on time after dinner," Bojang replied.

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Four players saw a flop of 479 as Federico Ottenio bet, John Zable called, as did Evan Cruse and Ryan Scully.

The turn came the K and action checked to Scully on the button who bet, Ottenio and Zable called, and Cruse went all in with his short stack.

"A need an overcard, Tracy. Boom," Scully asked the dealer as the 6 fell. Scully bet again and Ottentio and Zable both called.

Scully had KK910 for a set of kings while Ottentio and Cruse both had Ax2x to split the low pot.

"Almost hit a million, baby," Scully said as he took the high pot and headed off for dinner.

Burnside and Campbell Clash in Blind vs Blind Pot

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Action folded to Kyle Burnside in the small blind who came in for a raise before seeing Chad Campbell stick in a three-bet from the big blind.

Burnside called and the two were off to a flop of 839. Burnside led with a bet that was met with a quick call from Campbell before the dealer burned and turned the 9.

Burnside led again with a bet and was again called by Campbell to see the K river come out.

Burnside opted for a check but called a bet put out by Campbell. Campbell turned over the AA98 which was enough to force Burnside to send his cards into the muck as Campbell collected the pot.
