Stausholm Doubles Through Wedemire
Level 8
: 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
With some 8,000 in the middle to the A♥10♣8♥ flop, Thomas Wedemire invested 5,600 and then faced the shove by Martin Stausholm from one seat over. Wedemire asked for a count and made the call for 21,900 total after one minute of consideration.
Martin Stausholm: 10♥7♥
Thomas Wedemire: A♦2♦
The 4♥ on the turn instantly improved Stausholm to an unbeatable flush, which made the K♠ river a formality.
