Leng Adds Chips Without Showdown

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Three ways to the A97 flop, Romain Lewis checked out of the big blind. Patrick Liang, winner of a $1 million envelope in the Mystery Bounty tournament, then bet 10,000 from under the gun. Ryan Leng called and Lewis folded.

On the Q turn, Liang checked and Leng's bet worth 20,000 won the pot without any further resistance.

Leng Doubles With a Set

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Facing a bet worth 21,000 on the heads-up turn of 8325, Ryan Leng moved all-in for 49,000 from one seat over.

"Sometimes I am drawing dead," his opponent said and then sigh-called with the 1010. That wasn't the case but they only had two outs as Leng was in the lead with the 55 for a set of fives. Nothing changed with the 7 river and Leng doubled.

Howard Picks Good Time to Hit Quads

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Howard was short on chips after the break, and he found himself in a battle of the blinds against another short stack.

Howard, who was in the small blind, moved all in with approximately 60,000. The big blind, who had a smaller stack, already had 6,000 committed to the pot between his blind and ante. He made the call and the cards were tabled.

Howard: 109
Opponent: 98

The dealer fanned a spicy flop of 10J10, giving Howald trip 10s and his opponent an open-ended straight. The 10 on the turn, though, gave Howard quads and had his opponent drawing dead to the river, where 4 appeared.

Howard secured the win and sent his opponent to the rail.

Iyer Chops With Fashakin

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

In a duel of WSOP bracelet winners, Femi Fashakin and Abhinav Iyer checked the A98105 river and the former tabled the 107. Iyer slowly rolled over his cards and exposed the 102, which ensured a split pot.

"That was a funny hand ... I promised to myself to open a hand with the Doyle," Iyer said. Fashakin responded "my shove would have gone through" before Iyer chimed in with an "I don't know, my hand still beats a lot".

Song and Shing Score Knockouts

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a three-way flop of K96, Stephen Song called the all-in of a shorter stack for 60,000 while the flop aggressor folded.

Song's 97 was up against A8 for the nut flush draw and he retained the lead throughout the 5 turn and 9 river.

Shortly after on the same table, Philip Shing looked up a short stack for 20,000 with 99 versus A7. The J8657 board gave Shing a nine-high straight and the table had two seat open available.

Valpreda Doubles Through Skhulukhiya

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Giorgiy Skhulukhiya clashed with Justin Valpreda when the latter was all-in for 53,500 before the flop as a typical coin flip unfolded.

Justin Valpreda: AJ
Giorgiy Skhulukhiya: 99

The two overcards made trips on the JJ4QK board and Skhulukhiya took a hit to his still very healthy stack.
