Hallay and Deeb Lock Horns While Negreanu and Oganyan Explore Time Bank Strategy

Freddy Deeb bet 13,000 from the small blind on a 10♦10♠3♥ flop. Axel Hallay raised to 60,000 and Deeb called.

Both players checked the 8♠ on the turn. When the 7♦ hit the river, Deeb checked, and Hallay bet 130,000, more than half of Deeb's remaining stack. Deeb used a time bank before folding.

While the hand was going on, Daniel Negreanu invited tablemate Aram Oganyan to his vlog. "Most players will ask you, 'How much are you playing?'" Negreanu joked. "Only Aram will ask you, 'How many timebanks do you have left?'"

"I figure if I know you only have one time bank, and I bluff you, you will have to fold because you don't have time to think through the hand." Oganyan explained.
