Serhii Popovych opened from under the gun and then called after Daniel Strelitz three-bet out of the big blind.

Both players took one card on the first draw with Strelitz betting and getting called.

The second draw saw Strelitz and Popovych both take one card again. Strelitz then bet and called off for his tournament life after Popovych raised.

Strelitz took one more card while Popovych stood pat, tabling 8732, ahead of Strelitz's 732. "It's a spade" remarked Strelitz as he peeled the fourth card. Though the right suit, the Q was not sufficient to secure the pot, sending Strelitz to the payout desk in 14th place.

Serhii Popovych opened from under the gun and was called by David Bach in the big blind.

On the first draw, Bach took one card while Popovych drew two. Bach then checked and called when Popovych bet.

The second draw saw both players take one card with Bach moving his last few chips into the middle and getting called.

Before Bach and Popovych took one more card each, they turned over their three card hands. Bach held 53A while Popovych had 543, meaning that Bach was well in the lead. Unfortunately for the at risk player, Popovych made badugi after flipping over the 7 while the J for Bach sealed his fate.
