Level 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The action was relayed to PokerNews after the fact. A player in early position limped in and it folded to Mikki Mase on the button who raised it up to 4,000, which only the limper called.

The flop fanned out AA10 and both players checked their options to the A turn. The early position player tossed out a bet of 5,000 and Mase came along to the 8 river.

The early position player slowed down with a check and Mase bet out 15,000, which his opponent quickly called. Mase tabled QQ for a full-house and his opponent flashed the 10 to show he had a full-house as well.

A few hands later Mase opened the action to 3,600 from under the gun and only the small blind called.

On the flop of KQ7, the small blind check-called a bet of 7,000 from Mase. The 10 hit the turn and both players tapped the table for a check to the 10 river.

The small blind checked a third time and Mase slid out a bet of 15,000, which was enough to fold out his opponent and take down another pot to put his stack over 100,000.

In a three-way pot of just under 10,000 on a flop showing 767, a player in the big blind led out for 3,000 and Michael Monicatti bumped it up to 13,000 next to act. Stephen Soulsby was on the button and moved all in for 51,600. The big blind called for less to put themselves at risk and Monicatti went deep in the tank.

After close to a minute of deliberation, Monicatti tabled 88 to show the fold and the other two players hands were opened.

Opponent: AA
Stephen Soulsby: A7

It was a cooler flop for the aces against the trips for Soulsby, and when the board ran out 57, it was the quads that put salt on the wound for the big blind as they made their way to the exit.

Soulsby told PokerNews as he scooped in the pot that it's his first time in Las Vegas and his first ever WSOP event.
