John Monnette bet from the small blind and Patrick Leonard defended from the big blind. Monnette drew two and Leonard drew three.
Both players checked after the first draw. Once again Monnette drew two and Leonard drew three.
After the second draw Monnette bet and was called by Leonard. This time Monnette stood pat while Leonard drew one.
With no draws left Monnette fired another bet sending Leonard deep into the tank. After approximately two minutes of Leonard decided on a call.
Monnette showed 8x7x6x5x3x for the winner and dragged in the majority of Leonard's remaining chips.
