Action was heads up after the second draw with about 9,000 in the middle. Joel Deutsch bet and was called by his opponent in the button.

Both players stood pat on the third draw and checked. Deutsch showed 8x6x4x3x2x for the winner and took down a nice pot.

Coombs Sends Kassela Out

Mike Coombs had Frank Kassela all in and fanned out a 7x6x5x3x2x after the final draw.

Kassela held an eight-seven, which wasn't enough and he was sent to the rail late in the day.

Divakaran Marella raised from the hijack, Daniel Negreanu made it three bets from the cutoff and Joe McKeehen made it four bets from the button. Both Marella and Negreanu called.

Marella and Negreanu checked to McKeehen, who opted to bet after the first draw. Both opponents called and all three players drew one.

Action slowed down after the second draw, with all three players checking. Marella stood pat while Negreanu and McKeehen each took one.

Action checked around again after the final draw and Marella tabled 9x7x6x5x3x which was enough to take down the pot.

Gerhart Sends Heartberg Out

Jeremy Heartberg raised on the button and was three-bet by Kevin Gerhart from the big blind. Heartberg raised again for the rest of his stack and Gerhart called to put him at risk.

Both players drew two on the first round, Gerhart drew one and Heartberg drew two on the second round, and Gerhart stood pat while Gerhart drew one on the final round.

Gerhart fanned out 7x6x5x3x2x and Heartberg couldn't beat it with his nine, sending him out late in the evening.

Heinzl bet again after the second draw and the button called. Heinzl drew one and the button drew two.

After the final draw both players checked. Heinzl showed Kx5x4x3x2x for king-high. The player in the button looked disappointed as he threw his cards into the muck.
