Chambers Smacks the Flop

Michael Estes, in the cutoff, bet 1,200 on a flop of 4♠4♣6♥ before the player on the button potted to 7,600. Walter Chambers called in early position and Estes folded.

The turn came the 5♥ and the button potted again to 22,000. Chambers now moved all and the button called off his last few chips.

The all-in player had K♣K♠4♥3♥ for trip fours and a straight flush draw, while Chambers showed 6♦6♣A♣3♠ for a flopped full house. The river came the 5♣ and Chambers held on to eliminate his opponent.

"I had a straight flush draw, trips, and an overpair, and I was almost drawing dead," the defeated opponent said before heading for the exit.

Jansen Snaps Off Rheem

Heads-up on a board of 10♥8♠2♦8♦, Chino Rheem bet 5,000 from the hijack and Bradley Jansen called under the gun.

The river came the 3♣ and Jansen checked over to Rheem, who moved all in for 32,000. Jansen quickly called.

"You're good," Rheem said as Jansen turned over A♥8♥. "Good luck, guys," Rheem added before making a quick walk to the exit.

Amnon Filippi three-bet on the button and an opponent in the cutoff called. "Get rid of the riff-raff," Filippi said heading to the draw.

Filippi took two and checked, while his opponent drew one and also checked to the second draw. Filippi drew two again and called a bet.

Both players took one on the final draw and the cutoff checked to Filippi, who checked behind and turned over a 10-9-8 to win the pot.

Hatano Catches Rawtani in a Bluff

Sosuke Hatano had 600 in front of him under the gun before Nitesh Rawtani, on the button, raised to 1,700. The blinds got out of the way and Hatano called.

The flop came 3♦7♠6♠ and both players checked. Hatano also checked the Q♣ turn and Rawtani fired out 900.

Hatano called to the 3♠ river, where Rawtani bet another 5,500. Hatano took his time before calling and Rawtani instantly mucked his hand, allowing Hatano to take the pot without a showdown as he took a deep breath and collected the pot.

His opponent then bet out on sixth and Abronson called. "Got a straight yet," Abronson asked heading to seventh.

On seventh, Abronson raised a bet before his opponent stuck in a reraise. Abronson called with A♦7♦6♥ for a straight. "I have three pair," his opponent said, showing 3♠6♠5♣ before mucking.

"I thought you may have a flush buried there when you raised," Abronson said following the hand.

Braga Stands Pat

Martin Smith raised from under the gun and JJ Liu called from middle position before Sergio Braga came along from the small blind. The big blind called and the players tossed out their draw cards.

Braga took one and the big blind took three, while Smith took two and Liu took one. Braga led the betting after the draw and the big blind folded before both Smith and Liu came along.

Braga stood pat after the first drw and Smith took two before Liu took one. Braga bet again and both players called.

After the second draw, Braga was still pat and Smith drew one before Liu tapped the table to hold all five cards. All three players checked the third draw and the cards were turned up.

Braga showed 8x7x6x5x2x to take the pot with an eight-seven and Smith tossed it in the muck before Liu took a second look and conceded the pot.

The big blind took two this time and called before taking one more. Sokoloff again stood pat and bet. His opponent this time quickly tossed his cards away.

Viktor Blom took his seat at the table right before this hand. Aloisio Dourado, runner-up to Shaun Deeb in the $1,500 Eight Game Mix yesterday, also recently registered for this event.
