Bergendahl Calls Down Blom

Level 4

Limit Hold'em

Viktor Blom was in the big blind and bet on a board of 7298. John Bergendahl called on the button as they went heads-up to the 3 river.

Blom fired out another bet and Bergendahl called. Blom turned over J9 for a pair of nines.

"What's that," Bergendahl said as he looked at Blom's hand. He then turned over 88 for a set of eights to take the pot off the online legend.

Ace-High Good For Kipnis

Level 3

Limit Hold'em

Heads-up on a flop of 229, Adam Kipnis bet from the cutoff and an opponent in the big blind called.

The turn came the 10 and Kipnis bet again. His opponent check-called to the 8 river and checked over to Kipnis a third time.

Kipnis now checked back and showed AK for a pair of deuces, ace-kicker, that was good enough to win the pot.

The tournament clock recently went over 200 total entries. Among the newest additions to the field was Andrew Hamm and his familiar Elmo cap. "I had $300 this morning and turned it into $3,000 to get into this," Hamm said.

Park Scoops Elezra, Dourado Seeks Advice From Vitch

Level 3

Omaha Hi-Lo

Hye Park and Eli Elezra went heads-up to a flop of Q8Q as Park bet. Elezra called to the 5 turn, where he check-called another bet.

The river came the 4 and Park bet again. Elezra called and Park showed A21010 for two pair and a low to scoop the pot.

While this hand was taking place, Aloisio Dourado and Chris Vitch were discussing Dourado's final hand last night against Shaun Deeb in the Eight Game Mix, where Dourado called all in with queens but ran into Deeb's full house.

"Do you think it was a bad call," Dourado asked Vitch.

"No, of course not," Vitch replied. "It's a good call in machine-land, but Shaun's a f**king nit," he added.
