Palma Gets One Through

A player in early position bet 4,000 and received a call from Joe Palma in the small blind and a player in the big blind.

The flop came A♥2♦A♦. The blinds checked, the early position player bet 3,500 and both opponents called. Action was then checked through on the 7♣ turn.

Palma took the initiative on the river with a 15,000 bet which folded the player in the big blind and sent the early position player deep into the tank. As he thought through his decision he mentioned that he had an ace for trips but was worried about his kicker. Eventually he folded Ax6x face up and asked Palma to show the bluff.

Palma obliged, showing K♦Q♦ for a missed flush draw and took down a nice pot.
