Tarun Gulati raised to 2,000 in early position and was called by the button. Rayan Chamas squeezed to 11,000 from the big blind and only Gulati called.
The flop came 10♦5♦4♠ and Chamas led out with a bet of 10,000. Gulati moved all in for 38,200 and Chamas asked for a count but opted to lay his hand down.
Defending WSOP main event champion Epsen Jorstad opened to 2,200 from the hijack and received calls from Ali Shahni on the button and Christopher Maguire in the big blind.
The flop came 2♣7♣10♣. Maguire checked, Jorstad checked and Shahni bet 2,200, receiving a call from Maguire while folding out Jorstad.
Both players checked the 5♣ turn.
Maguire fired a small 2,200 bet on the Q♠ river. Shahni thought about his decision for about 30 seconds before making the call.
Maguire tabled 2♦2♠ for a flopped set while Shahni showed J♣9♣ for a flopped flush to take the pot down.
Daron Greenblatt raised to 7,000 from the middle position as the big blind three bet to 18,200. Greenblatt found the call and both players headed to the flop.
The flop came 3♥2♠10♣ as the big blind led out for 7,500. Greenblatt made the call.
With the J♣ on the turn both players were quick to check around.
The river was the 4♦ as the big blind player checked to Greenblatt. He jammed all in and the opponent took some time before letting his hand go. Greenblatt scooped the pot to increase his stack.
Chris Moorman raised in early position to 2,100 and Louis Papadelias called next to him, followed by the big blind. The trio went to see a flop 7♥8♠4♣ and it checked to Moorman who bet 3,000, only called by Papadelias.
When the J♣ hit the turn, Moorman checked and Papadelias pushed for 25,700. Moorman didn't take long to fold and Papadelias grabbed the pot.
A completed board of 6♦5♥3♣J♣6♥ was spread across the felt with around 35,000 in the middle already. The action was on Kristen Foxen in early position who shipped all in as the bigger stack.
Her opponent went into the tank for a couple of minutes with a decision to make for his last 18,500 chips. After a couple of minutes, the clock was called and he quickly dropped in the chips to call. Foxen flipped over J♥J♦ for a full house while her opponent called with A♥K♣ for just ace-high.
Maria Konnikova bet 2,200 from early position and received a call from a player on the button. A player in the small blindthree-bet to 10,5000 and Konnikova went all in for approximately 70,000. The button got out of the way and the small blind called putting himself at risk.
