Chen Gets Turned to the Rail

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Eliot Hudon opened to 100,000 on the button and Pete Chen attempted to stall his way through the next pay jump. With not much happening at the other tables, Chen finally stuck in the last of his 250,000 chips from the small blind and Hudon called.

The flop came 1095 and Chen picked up a pair of tens to take the lead. However, the A on the turn gave Hudon a pair of aces and the 5 on the river ended Chen's run.

Dimitrov Wins a Huge Flip

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Aleks Dimitrov raised to 100,000 in middle position and Espen Jorstad called from the cutoff. Aliaksandr Shylko three-bet to 725,000 from the blinds and Dimitrov four-bet shoved all in for 1,775,000. Jorstad folded and Shylko quickly called as the bigger stack.

The flop of 1054 was safe for Shylko with his pair of eights. The A peeled off on the turn, giving Dimitrov exactly what he was looking for. The J on the river changed nothing and Shylko was forced to pass over a double up.

Botcowsky Runs Into a Boat

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

David Botcowsky raised it up in middle position and was called by Aram Oganyan on the button and Frederic Normand in the big blind. The flop came A76 and the action checked to Oganyan who bet 125,000. Normand folded but Botcowsky called to see the Q on the turn.

Botcowksy check-called another bet of 380,000 on the turn from Oganyan and the Q paired the board on the river. Botcowsky checked for the third time and Oganyan ripped all in for 1,235,000. Botcowsky went into the tank for a couple of minutes with a stack of 1,170,000. He eventually called and Oganyan tabled 77 for a full house to eliminate Botcowsky.

Shylko Traps With Aces

Nikita Kalinin jammed all in from early position for 110,000 as both the cutoff and big blind made the call.

Chu Can't Get Past Jorstad

Stanley Lee raised to 100,000 in early position and picked up three callers along the way. The flop fell AQ4 and the action checked to Espen Jorstad in the cutoff who bet 120,000. Justin Chu called from the big blind and they went heads-up to the 6 on the turn.

Both players checked this time and the A paired the board on the river. Chu led out with a bet of 150,000 on the river and Jorstad just called. Chu tabled KJ for a missed straight draw while Jorstad held AJ to scoop the pot.

Zhang Adds to His Stack

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Action was caught after the flop of Q79 with Yang Zhang having checked from the big blind. Andrei Stoenescu raised to 145,000 from the cutoff as Zhang called to the turn.

The turn was the Q as both players were quick to check.

WIth the 8 having peeled off on the river, Zhang checked to Stoenescu. He led out for 150,000 and Zhang raosed to 650,000. His opponent made the fold as he scooped the pot.
