Atamian Exits As Allen Stacks the Chips

Level 20 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Richie Allen raised from middle position and Alfred Atamian raised to put himself all in.

Allen called and the two were headed to a runout with Atamian at risk.

Alfred Atamian: AA42
Richie Allen: KK54

The J104 was safe for Atamian, but the 5 gave Allen two pair and put Atamian behind going to the river.

The Q fell on the river and send Atamian to the rail as the chips were pushed in Allen's direction.

Force Puts Woods to the Test

Level 20 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Big O

James Woods and Leif Force went to the river on a board of 64K78 when Woods put 110,000 in front of him in early position.

Force, in the cutoff, then raised to 340,000 as Woods sent deep into the tank for the rest of his stack.

"I told you I have aces," Woods said as he stood up from his seat.

"Got a coin," Force said, leaning back in his chair.

"Sorry guys. I got to do this," Woods told the table as several minutes went by. He eventually open-folded AA63.

"I'm the worst player who ever lived," Woods said as Force silently took in the pot without showing.

Heller Cuts Down Kessler

Level 21 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Allen Kessler moved all in for around 60,000 on a flop of 8QK and Cheryl Heller called to put him at risk.

"Do you have king-queen," Kessler asked as he turned over AK73. Heller didn't have that hand, but she did have AK86 for two pair.

The turn came the 10. "I need a jack," Kessler said, but he missed the 6 river and was sent to the rail with his 106h career WSOP cash, but no bracelet.

Cleghorn Teaches "the Master" a Lesson

Level 21 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Stephen Cleghorn raised from early position as action folded to Men Nguyen in the small blind, who didn't know how much the bet was for.

"Should we tell PokerNews how bad you're playing? Old man doesn't know the bet," tablemate Dustin Dirksen joked as Nguyen called, as did big blind Richard Davis.

All three players checked the 93Q flop before Nguyen led out on the 10 turn. Davis folded, but Cleghorn stuck around with a call.

The river came the 5 and Nguyen checked this time. Cleghorn fired out a bet and Nguyen threw his hands in the air in frustration before mucking.

Cleghorn began celebrating and turned over KQJ8 for a bluff as he took the pot. "Got to bet that," a tablemate told him. Nguyen admitted he folded two pair.

Morozovs, Hinkelmann Chop Up Edwards

Level 21 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Big O

Paul Edwards was all in for 31,000 from the small blind as Mihails Morozovs and Heiko Hinkelmann built a side pot heading to the 5710 flop.

Morozovs, under the gun, then also pushed his last 72,000 in the middle and Hinkelmann called.

Paul Edwards: A9885
Mihails Morozovs: AQ1072
Heiko Hinkelmann: 76432

The board ran out 43 and Hinkelmann made a straight to take the high, while Morozovs had the nut low to earn half the pot. "Payout," Edwards cried out as he was left with nothing but a walk to the payout desk.

Dirksen in a Gambling Mood

Level 21 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Big O

Prior to the hand, Dustin Dirksen and Men Nguyen both ordered a round of drinks. "This man is kicking my ass. Men the legend. I'm getting my ass kicked by a 70-year-old man. Let's gamble," Dirksen said as he potted and pushed forward a tower of red 5,000 chips.

"I drink Corona and play bad," Nguyen replied.

Octaviano Duran called all in for around 50,000 in early position and opened up AJ742. Dirksen had AA853.

"I need one more spade," Duran said heading to the 5104 flop, which gave him a flush draw.

"That's good for you," Dirksen said as the 7 fell on the turn. "That's really good for you," he continued.

The river came the 3 and Duran scooped the pot. "He gets all of it," Dirksen said as he handed over the entire pot.

The drinks arrived right after the hand and Dirksen and Nguyen toasted each other.
