Level 21
Gershon Distenfeld
Gershon Distenfeld

Limit Hold'em

Daniel Makowsky raised on the button and was called by Gershon Distenfeld in the big blind.

Distenfeld check-raised a bet from Makowsky on the K5Q flop and Makowsky called.

Makowsky called bets from Distenfeld on the 3 turn and 4 river and Distenfeld announced, "Nuts," as he turned over A2 for a runner-runner wheel.

A frustrated Makowsky sent his hand into the muck forcefully and Distenfeld added to his stack.

Epstein Eliminates Hebert

Level 21

Stud Eight or Better

Mary Sturges: XxXx/A106K - folded on sixth street
Daniel Makowsky: XxXx/AJ - folded on fourth street
Benjamin Hebert: QQ/28510/Xx
Scott Epstein: 78/52710/Xx

Action was picked up on fourth street with a check from Makowsky. Hebert bet before Epstein raised. Sturges called. Makowsky folded, and Hebert then reraised. Epstein responded with a fourth bet. Sturges again called. Hebert put his last chips into the pot, and action continued with a side pot up for grabs.

Sturges checked fifth street before calling a bet from Hebert. She checked sixth street as well, but eventually folded to another bet from Hebert.

Hebert and Epstein turned over their cards. Hebert had no draw to the low, and was looking for a heart against the made flush of Hebert. Hebert's final card was the 9, though, and he was eliminated. Epstein's final card was the 9 to unnecessarily improve his hand.

Henry Rescued by River

Level 21

Louis Henry: 26/31067/Xx
Julian Aguirre: XxXx/259 - folded on fifth street
Randy Ohel: A6/5A7J/Xx

Action was picked up leading into fifth street, with Henry all in.

Ohel made a bet on fifth street. Aguirre mentioned aloud how hot Ohel was running before folding.

Henry had draws on both sides, but Ohel was ahead after fifth street with his pair of aces and made seven-six. Sixth street brought no help for Henry, but the K gave him a flush to split the pot and remain in the tournament.

Valimahomed completed. Irvin then raised, and Le came along. Valimahomed also called all in for less.

Fourth street saw another bet from Irvin, with Le still coming along.

Irvin bet again on fifth street, and Le began to think. "How am I not ahead of both of you?" asked Irvin.

"I don't know," said Le, "you might have another ace under there." Le eventually folded before Irvin showed that he did in fact have a paired ace underneath. Le jokingly threw his arms up in the air.
