Stud 8 or better

Christopher Lindner: XxXx / 51010 folded on fifth street
Phil Hellmuth: AK4

"I take this one, you take the next one," Phil Hellmuth said after he raised a bet by Christopher Lindner on fifth street. His opponent tossed his cards into the muck after some deliberation and table chatter broke out after. Kristan Lord had apparently also been in the hand and mentioned he had a pair of aces.

"I could have three kings," Hellmuth responded after he raked in the pot.

Lopez Chops After the Bubble

Level 19

Badeucey

Most of the chips of Daniel Lopez were already in the middle when he bet his last 7,500 after the final draw. Dominick Sarle called and tabled his 5 / 64A for a three-card dugi and received the Q as his final card.

"Do you have a Badugi?" he inquired and Lopez shook his head as the 54 / 732 only scooped half the pot with a seventy-five.

Chin Eliminated on the Bubble

Badugi

The dealers were instructed to stop after the conclusion of the current hand as the field was reduced to the last 70 contenders. However, there was one further elimination as James Johnson knocked out Yashuo Chin.

In a Badugi hand, Johnson raised in the hijack and Chin called on the cutoff. Johnson discarded one while Chin took one new card. Johnson bet and Chin called all-in.

On the second draw, the the same discarding continued while both then took one card each on the last draw. Johnson was narrowly ahead with a three-dugi, showing 6x2xAx while Chin had a 6x3xAx.

Johnson failed to improve with a suited queen but Chin also did so with a suited king to finish on the money bubble.

Sagle Chops With Claassen

Level 18

Stud Hi-Lo Regular

Jason Sagle: 664 / 3984
Christopher Claassen: 862 / 75J2

Christopher Claassen called a bet by Jason Sagle on sixth street and both then checked seventh. Claassen tabled his pair of deuces with an eighty-seven low, having missed an open-ended straight draw. That was good for half the pot as Sagle had sixes and fours.

In the meanwhile, Phuong Tran was on her way out of the tournament area as the field was thinned down to just 71 contenders.

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Picking action up with about 36,000 in the middle after the second draw, John Racener bet 10,000 under the gun and got raised to 30,000 by Frederic Moss on the button.

Racener called and then patted his hand, as did Moss.

Racener took a moment and then checked. Moss thought briefly as well and then checked as well.

Two stunning hands were then revealed.

Racener showed 7x5x4x3x2x for number one. Moss then said "I checked back number two" and indeed showed 7x6x4x3x2x, losing the minimum and leaving Racener disappointed to not earn more from what could have been a much bigger pot.

Tens are Running Hot on Table 608

Level 18

Limit Omaha 8 or better

On a board of K10747, Dylan Smith called down bets of Ryan Roeder on the flop, turn and river. Roeder tabled the A10104 for tens full of sevens and scooped the pot.

"Tens are running hot here," Jim Collopy in the three seat added in table chat.

With just 72 players remaining and 69 spots paid, the money bubble is looming in the third level of the day.

Schreiber Out Before the Money; Hughes Rises

Level 18

Limit Omaha High Only

Matthew Schreiber was all-in for just 5,500 on a three-way turn of 10546 and earned calls from Frank Kassela and Ryan Hughes. Some small confusion emerged to determine the side pot as the full bet by then was 12,000.

Kassela then bet the 2 on the river and called a raise by Hughes to show KK43 for the six-high straight. Hughes declared the nuts and showed Q875 while Schreiber only briefly flashed AJ10xXx before joining the rail.
