Dickstein Escapes From Elimination Once More

Level 21

Badeucey

Mark Dickstein was already all-in prior to the final draw, which he patted. Michael Noori was his sole opponent by then who discarded one card.

As the cards were then revealed, Dickstein showed the 5 / 10843 for a ten-ten. Noori had outs with the 7 / 962 but the 8 was not among them as he held no club in the hand.

Paresh Doshi and David Levi are the current big stacks on the table after the elimination of Richard Ashby.

Lally Gets Shorter

Level 21

Badacey

Jaswinder Lally raised and Jeff Lisandro three-bet for Nick Kost to call out of the small blind. Kost and Lally took two new cards while Lisandro took one. They checked to Lisandro, who bet and earned two calls. The same drawing action took place after and it was checked to the final draw, which repeated the same discarding once more.

Lisandro bet when checked to and Kost was the only caller. Kost had a 7 / K532 for an king-dugi and king-high for half the pot while Lisandro's 4 / 8643 was good for the other half with the superior Badugi but no low.

Hughes Eliminated After "Three Card Monte"

Level 21

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Ryan Hughes moved all in for 34,000 from the hijack and got called by Bryan Micon in the cutoff. Paresh Doshi then moved all in for 53,000 in the small blind and Micon called with the potential to eliminate both opponents.

Doshi drew one, Hughes drew one and Micon stood pat.

There was a bit of brief confusion over which cards were correctly slid to the players that the players joked looked like "Three-Card Monte" but once it was ensured that the correct cards had ended up in the correct hands, the hands were revealed.

Bryan Micon: Jx10x7x3x2x
Paresh Doshi: 8x5x3x2x/Xx
Ryan Hughes: 9763/Xx

Micon's pat jack would have to fade a lot. Hughes drew the K, giving him a flush and sending him to the rail. Meanwhile Doshi pulled a 4x to give him a winning eight-five.

The Rapid Eliminations Continue

Level 21

Caleb Shumard and Marco Johnson were sent to the rail while Ryan Hughes saw his stack decimated, all within what appeared to be two minutes.

Johnson was involved in a Badacey hand with Tomasz Gluszko, who raked in the pot while sipping an alcoholic beverage as another player remarked "your new favourite game".

Only one hand was still exposed as Johnson's 10 / 8643 for a ten-high and eight Badugi earned no part of the pot.

Hughes came up short in an all-in showdown versus Bryan Micon, who doubled for 86,000 with 10x8x5x3x2x in No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw.

Fast and Furious Eliminations

Level 21

Bach Short; Kassela Out

Level 21

Just before the level changed, Frank Kassela was spotted on his way to the payout desk after a NL 2-7 Single Draw hand with Matthew Schultz.

Big O

At the same time one table over, the chips went in between Luis Concha and David Bach on a flop of 766.

David Bach: A10952
Luis Concha: AQJJ2

Bach had a gutshot to go with his nut low draw while Concha had the same nut low draw with a pocket par in his hand. The 7 turn and 3 river completed the board as both made the nut low, earning Concha three quarters of the pot.

Shack-Harris Hammered by Aggressive Johnson

Level 20
Brandon Shack-Harris
Brandon Shack-Harris

Badugi
James Johnson raised in late position and got called by Luis Concha in the small blind and Brandon Shack-Harris in the big blind.

Concha drew two, Shack-Harris drew one, and Johnson took two.

Concha then checked and Shack-Harris bet. Johnson raised and Concha folded.

With action back on Shack-Harris, he now three-bet, but was met with a quick four-bet by Johnson.

This slowed down Shack-Harris who only had 35,000 behind at this point.

After over a minute of thought, he flashed the K and sent it, and his other three cards, into the muck.

DeWitt Takes From Roeder

Level 20

Badacey

On the second draw, Nathan DeWitt almost tossed his cards into the muck when Ryan Roeder told him "I just called your bet" and DeWitt then took one card after which DeWitt check-called. They patted and DeWitt bet for Roeder to call.

DeWitt showed the 5 / 7642 for a seven-seven and Roeder double-checked his cards before tossing them into the muck.
