Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Jeremy Ausmus raised under the gun and Nolan King called on the button.

The JA10 flop saw Ausmus check-call a bet of 25,000 from King.

The 4 turn saw a repeat of action, this time King betting 60,000.

The A on the river prompted Aumus to lead into the aggressor for 150,000, a substantial portion of King's stack.

After several minutes in the tank, squirming over his decision, King eventually folded earning Ausmus the pot.

The flop came 299 and Dudani shoves all in for the remainder of his stack; approximately 77,000.

Action was picked up on the flop. Players were heads up, the board read J95 and Dustin Dirksen had made a pot-sized bet of 165,000, representing the majority of his stack. His opponent Kevin Marcotte was deep in the tank.

"You win this pot, you win the whole tournament" Dirksen told his opponent.

After some time, Marcotte announced "Pot", putting Dirksen all in with a covering stack. Dirksen quickly made the call.

Dustin Dirksen: QJ109
Kevin Marcotte: AAK9

Dirksen was ahead with top two-pair against Marcotte's overpair. The board ran out 3K giving Marcotte a higher two-pair while improving Dirksen to a queen-high straight. Marcotte was left short-stacked while Dirksen scooped a pivotal pot less than a dozen places away from the money bubble.

Another 10 seconds went by before Zinno decided to pass flashing the A. "I am a Hold'em specialist."
