Mayo Scores a Double Knockout
Level 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
The hijack started the action with a raise to 2,000 and it was called by the button. Dylan Mayo three-bet to 7,500 in the small blind and his two opponents called.
Things heated on the 9♣Q♥7♥ flop. Mayo sent 12,000 in the middle and the hijack called. The button tanked a minute and shoved for around 31,000. Mayo snap-called with a bigger stack and the hijack also called all in for less than 6,000 left.
HIjack: Q♠Q♣
Button: K♥Q♦
Dylan Mayo: A♣A♥
The hijack was in great shape for a triple up, but a A♦ showed up on the turn to give a set of aces to Mayo, who busted his two opponents after the 3♠ completed the board.
