Gabin Gets the Muck

Online grinder "God's Big Toe," Jarred Gabin, was in the big blind when the player under the gun, Landon Tice, raised to 5,000. Gabin defended his blind.

The flop arrived Q♠9♣3♥ and Tice made a continuation bet to 5,000 and Gabin called.

The turn brought the 2♥ and both players checked.

The river 7♥ took a turn when Gabin took over the aggression and made a bet of 6,000. Tice called and mucked when Gabin flipped over Q♦7♦.

The river brought the J♠ and Lam checked and the player under the gun checked and mucked quickly when Lam tabled A♦9♣ for a pair of aces.

In a three-way pot, the flop was 6♦8♣5♦. The big blind and Kristen Foxen checked to Alex Jim, who checked as well. On the 4♦ turn, it was again checked to Jim, who bet 5,000. The big blind raised to 15,000 and only Jim called.

The river fell the A♦ and both checked to table their cards. Jim revealed 4♣4♥ for a set of fours while his opponent showed 8♠2♠ and Jim received the pot.

Boobekov Puts Plante to a Decision

The board 3♦J♥Q♥A♥ was already dealt with three players involved when the big blind checked and Nurlan Boobekov bet 13,000. Santiago Plante called on the button, with 41,000 chips left behind, and the big blind let it go.

The 9♦ hit the river and Boobekov jammed, putting Plante at risk. The latter tanked for a few minutes before eventually releasing his cards into the muck.

A total of 10,430 entries joined the Millionaire Maker to create the largest $1,500 buy-in event in poker history and build a prize pool of $13,905,360 with the top 1,563 making a return on their investment of at least $2,400.

The future champion will be taking home $1,201,564.

Patel Hits the Aces

Hitesh Patel was in the small blind when the player in the cutoff raised to 12,000. Patel looked down to find a good hand and three-bet all in for about 122,000. The player in the cutoff quickly made the call with the dominant stack.
