Smirnov Bad Beats German

The cards were already tabled, with Myles German standing up after loosing all his chips. German went all in preflop with AK and had good hopes for a double up, facing AJ in Anton Smirnov's hand.

However, Smirnov managed to find a board with four spades, giving him the flush and German was eliminated from the tournament.

In a heads-up pot, Claude Ngangacodru bet 280,000 on a board JK54 and received a call from Michael Allen seated on the button.

The Q completed the board on the river and this time Ngangacodru checked. Allen sent a bet worth 360,000 and Ngangacodru tanked for a few minutes before sending his cards into the muck.

The river brought the Q and both checked. Gunness announced "seven" and mucked his cards after he saw AJ in Fates' hand for a pair of jacks.
