Seiver Scoops Rheem

Level 15 : Limits 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Scott Seiver: XxXx/34Q8/Xx
Chino Rheem: XxXx/10A4K/Xx

Chino Rheem had managed to recover after being left with just one chip in a pot against Scott Seiver earlier this level, but Seiver just knocked him back down to a short stack.

Seiver bet on sixth street and Rheem called. Seiver bet again on seventh and Rheem tossed in the chips to call.

Seiver turned over A85 for a pair of eights and a low, and Rheem tossed his cards into the muck.

"What would happen if someone misstated their hand and he throws his cards away like that," tablemate Matthew Schreiber asked.

"He's f**ked. Chino's f**ked," Noah Bronstein replied as the table discussed times they had seen that happen.

After a raise from Alex Livingston in middle position, Brandon Shack-Harris three-bet from the hijack. Action folded back to Livingston who called.

On the 10 turn however, after another check by Livingston and another bet from Shack-Harris, the Canadian star opted to fold his hand.

Loube and Drinan both checked fifth before Drinan bet on sixth. Loube called and they again checked on seventh.

Verenko Unexpectedly Triples

Level 15 : Limits 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Matthew Schreiber raised from the cutoff before Roman Verenko three-bet in the small blind. Noah Bronstein called in the big blind and Schreiber four-bet.

Verenko called for most of his chips, while Bronstein also called. The flop came 1034 and Schreiber tossed out a bet. Verenko moved all in and Bronstein also called.

A bet by Schreiber on the 8 turn was enough to get rid of Bronshtein and Verenko stood up from his seat prepared to make his exit.

Schreiber showed AK for ace-high and Verenko sat back down and turned over Q10. The 10 river gave him trips and secured his triple up.

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Wil Wilkinson: 743/57A7
Phil Hellmuth: XxXxXx/9465

Picking action up on fourth street, Wil Wilkinson bet every street through seventh, with Wilkinson's final bet surprising Hellmuth.

"What the F***," Hellmuth muttered before pausing to take a bite of his dinner while he contemplated his decision. Ultimately he landed on a call to see Wilkinson's trip sevens with a seven-five low.

Hellmuth re-checked his cards and then sent them to the muck to send another pot to Wilkinson who has been steadily rebuilding from a nub earlier in the level.

"Life is good Wil, life is good buddy," said Hellmuth before taking another bite of his dinner and moving on to the next hand, which Wilkinson would also take from Hellmuth and bring-in carol Fuchs.

Omaha Hi-Lo

Following a raise from Young Ko in early position, Connor Drinan raised in the cutoff and was called by John Racener on the button. Binh Ly then moved all in for 24,000 from the small blind with the other three players calling to put him at risk.

On the A32 flop, action checked to Racener who bet, getting a call only from Ko.

The 4 turn saw Ko check-call another Racener bet, with the players then checking the J river.

Ly chucked his KQJ7 face up and headed toward the exits, while Ko showed AQ94 and Racener showed A643, with each showing identical aces and fours for high with Ko getting quartered by Racener's live six for the low.

Eskandani Leaves Himself Short, Hui Then Finishes Him Off

Level 15 : Limits 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Phil Hui bet the turn on a board of JKQ7 before Mori Eskandani raised. Hui called as the 6 fell on the river.

Hui threw out a bet and Eskandani, with only a few chips remaining, tossed Ax10x into the muck.

"I'm saving it," Eskandani said heading to the next hand, where he got them in the middle again against Hui.

Mori Eskandani: Q5
Phil Hui: AJ

The AKA flop left Eskandani drawing to a miracle runner-runner, but none came as the board fell 77 and the Poker Hall of Famer hit the rail.

"He's the classiest guy," Phil Hellmuth said of Eskandani after he made his exit. "For 20 years he picked all the lineups for all those shows. Imagine the egos saying 'I should be on them."
