Fuchs Bets Out Toledo, Livingston Keeping Things Lively

Level 17 : Limits 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud

Delmiro Toledo: XxXx/7AJK/Xx
Carol Fuchs: XxXx/98Q9/Xx
Brian Yoon: XxXx/93 -folded

Delmiro Toledo bet on fourth street and was called by Brian Yoon before Carol Fuchs raised. Toledo reraised and Yoon folded, while Fuchs called.

Toledo bet again on fifth and Fuchs put in a raise. Toledo called, then called another bet on sixth.

Fuchs bet again on seventh and this time Toledo threw his cards away.

Alex Livingston was begun a conversation about the best poker players in the world, one that naturally drew Phil Hellmuth in.

"Phil, you can't possibly think in a $100K you're the best player," Livingston asked.

"I do," Hellmuth replied. "In the One Drops, I have more top 10s than anybody and I've only played half of them."

"The only reason Phil is talking is because he's won a few pots. If he lost he would be silent right now," John Racener added.

"That's the truest thing you've ever said," Hellmuth replied.

Even the tournament official had to comment that, more than halfway through the WSOP, this is the most fun he's experienced in a tournament so far.

Seiver Drops a Pot To Verenko, Hears It From Other Tables

Level 17 : Limits 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Heads-up on a board of 10485, Roman Verenko bet and Scott Seiver called.

The river came the K and Verenko continued with a bet. Seiver tanked for a few moments before he tossed in a call.

Verenko turned over 10533 for two pair that was enough to win the pot.

"Scott, I just put you in my top 25 poker players of all time," Alex Livingston called out from another table.

"Why am I catching strays from other tables now? You should've said top two, comma five," Seiver replied.

Hellmuth Continues to Rebuild

Level 17 : Limits 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold 'em

After Phil Hellmuth limped in the small blind, Esther Taylor checked her big blind.

Hellmuth check-called a bet from Taylor on the 659 flop to see the 7 on the turn. The players then checked to the 3 river.

Hellmuth fired out a bet and after some deliberation, Taylor mucked her hand, sending the pot to Hellmuth who has rebuilt his stack nicely since being all in on the bubble.

Limit Hold'em

Scott Seiver raised in the cutoff before Ben Diebold three-bet from the small blind. Seiver called to see the J910 flop.

Diebold continued with a bet and Seiver called. Both players checked the 4 turn and A river. "Eights," Diebold announced, but Seiver had 107 for a pair of tens to take the pot.

The next hand, Diebold three-bet again over a Seiver open, and Seiver called. Both players checked the K38 flop.

The turn came the 2 and Seiver bet. Diebold threw in his last chips and turned over A9, but Seiver had him beat with KQ for top pair.

The 4 came on the river and Diebold made his exit.

Amidst the flurry of recent eliminations, Matthew Schreiber was also seen leaving the tournament floor.

His executioner, Noah Bronstein provided the key details of the hand, telling PokerNews that Schreiber open-completed and was all in by fifth street with a low draw that never came in.

Schreiber ended up with a pair of queens for high, which were no good against Bronstein's deuces full of eights.
