Wilkinson Survives All In But Gets Shorter

Following a raise in early position from David "Bakes" Baker, Wil Wilkinson called from his short stack in the cutoff as did Esther Taylor in the big blind.

The trio checked the K♦Q♦5♥ flop, then on the 4♠ turn, Taylor led out with a bet. Both players called, with Wilkinson down to 60,000 chips.

On the river 6♠, Taylor checked to Baker who bet. Wilkinson then raised, putting in his last 60,000, which got calls from both opponents.

David "Bakes" Baker: Q♠8♣3♣2♠

Baker would take the high half of the pot with his six-high straight, while Wilkinson and Taylor split the low half with their ace-deuce.

Wil Wilkinson raised from the hijack before Alex Livingston made it three bets on the button. Action folded back to Wilkinson who four-bet all in, and Livingston called to put him at risk.

The 9♣J♦9♦Q♦K♣ board didn't connect with either player, and Livingston won the pot with his ace-eight kicker to send Wilkinson to the rail in 14th place.

Christopher Claassen was under the gun and Noah Bronstein on the button when the duo exchanged four bets each preflop, leaving Bronstein with just one bet left on the K♥Q♣6♦ flop. It went in to put Bronstein at risk with two cards to come.

Claassen had flopped a set of queens, leaving Bronstein drawing thin, and likely needing a running low to survive. Instead, the dealer placed the Q♠ on the turn to give Claassen quads, with the 6♠ on the river becoming irrelevant, and sending Bronstein to the rail.

Hellmuth resumed betting on seventh and Livingston called. Hellmuth turned over J♣4♠ for two pair and Livingston mucked as Hellmuth took in the pot.

Both players checked on fourth before Hellmuth bet on fifth and sixth.

Yoon called both bets and he led out on seventh. "I'm supposed to raise. I have kings up," Hellmuth said as he threw in a chip to call.

Yoon, though, showed 10♥10♦ for trip tens to leave a shocked Hellmuth shaking his head in frustration and muttering to himself.

On sixth street, despite pairing his ten, Claassen was sticky and called again after another bet by Drinan.

On seventh street, Drinan checked, as did Claassen after checking his cards.

Drinan showed an eight-seven, while Claassen could only show a nine-seven to send some chips Drinan's way.

PokerNews arrived to the table as Scott Seiver was seemingly pained by a decision he faced on seventh street versus a bet from Connor Drinan.

Approximately 300,000 was in the middle and Seiver would have less than 400,000 left if he called and was wrong.

Seiver shuffled his cards in his hand and talked through his decision before ultimately putting chips forward to see Drinan show a flush.

Seiver frustratedly mucked his cards and headed out on break to regroup.

Hellmuth, in the hijack, bet again on the river and Taylor tanked before she called. Hellmuth quickly turned over A♣K♣ for the flopped full house as he took down a big pot before leaving for break.
