Just Quads for Witteles

Michael Senter and Todd Witteles went heads-up to a flop of 1085 and Witteles led out with a bet from the small blind. Senter raised in the cutoff and Witteles countered with a three-bet. Senter called and the 7 landed on the turn.

Witteles led out with another bet and Senter just called this time. The 10 paired the board on the river and Witteles fired once more. Senter looked him up and Witteles tabled 1010 for quad tens to scoop the pot.

Elezra Wins One and Loses One; Mizrachi Sees a Miserable River

Level 12 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Matt Szymaszek raised and was called by Michael Mizrachi to his left. A bet and call followed on the A43 flop.

Szymaszek bet the 5 on the turn and Mizrachi raised. Szymaszek called to see the 2 completing the board. Both players checked and Mizrachi showed A9. Szymaszek showed Q10 and chopped it up. Mizrachi was visibly agitated as the pot was chopped.

Daly Flops Three Queens

John Daly raised on the button and David Bach three-bet from the small blind. Daly called and the flop came QQ9. Bach led out with a bet and Daly raised which got a call from Bach.

The turn was the 8 and Bach checked to Daly who made a bet. Bach went into the tank for a bit before making the call. The river was the 5 and Bach check-called another bet from Daly who turned over QJ to claim the pot.

Szymaszek Holds Tough with Ace-High

Matthew Mortensen raised it up on the button and Matt Szymaszek reraised in the small blind. Mortensen called and the dealer fanned the flop of 765.

Szymaszek led out with a bet and Mortensen raised which Szymaszek just called. The turn was the 10 and Szymaszek check-called another bet from Mortensen. The river was the Q and both players tapped the table. Szymaszek tabled AK for ace-high which was enough to win the pot.

Dave Lin raised from under the gun and picked up three callers along the way including Dan Shak and Junjie Zhu on his left. The flop fell K93 and the action checked to Shak who threw in a bet. Zhu raised and the action folded back to Shak who three-bet. Zhu just called and the 5 landed on the turn.

Shak made another bet and Zhu stuck around for the 3 on the river. Shak checked this time but grabbed a 5,000 chip, threatening to call if Zhu made a bet. Zhu opted to check it back and Shak tabled J10 for a flush to scoop the pot.

Shak Takes on a Shorty

Dave Lin got his last few thousand in the middle preflop and Dan Shak put him at risk.

The flop ran out 1068, giving Lin some straight outs, but he stood up after the 5 turn and grabbed his belongings when the 6 paired the board.

Jacob Ferro raised it up in the cutoff and Andrew Barfield defended from the big blind. The flop fell 10102 and Barfield check-called a bet from Ferro.

The turn brought the Q and both players checked to the A on the river. Barfield checked once more and Ferro flicked in a bet. Barfield thought for a brief moment and then called. Ferro turned over A9 for two pair and Barfield mucked his cards.
