Weisman Gets Value On River

In a heads-up pot with roughly 6,000 in the middle on a flop showing 10♣7♣4♦, the under-the-gun player bet out 3,500 and Dylan Weisman made the call in the hijack.

On the 2♠ turn both players slowed down with a check to the 5♣ river. The under-the-gun player checked and Weisman assembled a bet of 8,000. His opponent took a moment before tossing in a chip for the call and was shown the bad news when Weisman announced flush and tabled 8♣6♣ to score the sizable pot.

Josh Arieh opened to 700 from the hijack and was reraised by John Kabbaj, sitting immediately to his left. Kabbaj made it 2,000 to go and Arieh obliged.

The flop came J♦3♦9♦ and both players checked. They checked again on the 7♥ turn.

The river was the 4♦. Arieh bet 1,000 and Kabbaj raised again to 5,000. Arieh quickly found the fold.

In a four-way limped pot preflop on a flop of K♦10♥3♠, Pete Theodocion checked from the small blind, as well as the big blind, Joni Jouhkimainen under the gun and the player on the button.

The turn came the 4♣ and Theodocion bet out 1,500, which only the button called. The 4♦ completed the board and Theodocion kept up the aggression with a sizing of 4,000. The button quickly let his cards go and the pot was shipped to Theodocion.

On a river showing 10♦9♦7♦8♦K♦, the board seemed to be shining bright for Chino Rheem as he bet 12,100 and recieved a call from his opponent in late position.

His opponent asked if he had the nuts and Rheem responded, " Third nuts..." and showed A♦Q♦8♥3♠ to scoop the pot.

Players continued to fill the tables in the Purple Section of Paris as there is still plenty of time to register late.
